Smile Hotel Anan stands within walking distance of JR Anan Station in Tomioka. Rebranded from Hotel Sun Ocean Anan in May 2024, it has free parking, a large communal bath and a breakfast restaurant. The ground-floor Ichigo restaurant serves a Japanese-Western buffet 06:30–09:30, with entry by 09:00. Breakfast costs ¥1,200 and is free for preschool children. Combine toast, egg dishes, curry, rice, miso soup and dishes featuring Tokushima ingredients, with coffee and soft drinks available. All restaurant seats are nonsmoking.
Children’s booking rules and hotel facilities
One preschool child per existing bed may share free, without a separate bed or amenities. Primary-school children and older pay the adult rate; book a preschooler using their own bed in the primary-school category. Facilities include a large bath, coin laundry, microwave, ice machine and books/comics area. Luggage storage is offered on the day of the stay.
A five-minute station walk and free parking
Find the hotel at 42-4 Takinoshita in Tomioka, around five minutes from Anan Station on foot. The free car park holds sixty vehicles. Check-in is 15:00 and check-out 10:00; room prices depend on the date, category and plan. Return from sightseeing to the communal bath, then arrange the next morning around breakfast’s 09:00 final entry.
