明治創業と大正の建物
1893年に創業し、現在の建物は大正元年築と案内されています。老松が育つ回遊式の庭園と日本建築が調和し、和室はそれぞれに趣が異なります。旅館の中で庭を眺める時間や、籐椅子のあるロビーで休む時間を確保すると、観光の合間にも建物そのものを味わえます。
隆太窯とmonohanakoの器
館内には隆太窯とmonohanakoのギャラリーを併設し、中里隆、太亀、花子、健太らの器を展示販売しています。料理を盛る器への関心を、そのまま唐津焼を見る時間へつなげられます。窯元へ足を延ばす日とは別に、宿で作品を眺める時間も楽しめます。無料Wi-Fiがあり、館内で旅程を整えることもできます。

チェックインは15時、チェックアウト10時。東唐津駅から車4分で、普通車30台の駐車場があります。東唐津駅または唐津駅への送迎は7人以下の案内なので、利用する便と人数を宿泊の予約に合わせて調整できます。電話予約の受付時間は8～21時です。海辺の散策と市街地の見学を、宿への到着を軸に組み合わせられます。
唐津市内で組み合わせる訪問先
唐津市街では、旧高取邸や中町の店を町歩きに組み合わせられます。宿の食事時刻、飲食の定休日と夕方の予約条件、駐車場の昼夜の料金区分を合わせて訪問先を選べます。呼子・鎮西や浜玉・七山、相知・厳木へ足を延ばす日は、市街地の徒歩移動とは別に車やバスの移動時間を取れます。
Meiji origins and a Taisho-period building
Founded in 1893, the inn describes its surviving building as dating from the first year of Taisho, 1912. Old pines in a strolling garden complement the architecture, while Japanese rooms have individual character. Allow time for the garden and the lobby’s rattan chairs as part of the stay.
Ryutagama and monohanako pottery
The galleries feature Ryutagama and monohanako, displaying and selling work by Takashi, Taki, Hanako and Kenta Nakazato. Interest in the vessels used for food can continue into viewing Karatsu pottery within the inn. Free Wi-Fi is available for organising the rest of the trip.
Seafood kaiseki and reserved shabu-shabu
Alongside kaiseki using Genkai Sea fish, a Japanese black beef shabu-shabu course is offered by reservation. Dinner-and-breakfast guide rates are ¥28,600–¥50,600 per person including tax when two share a room, with the actual price depending on room and date. Plan the return from sightseeing around the included meal.
Arrival and access from the stations
Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 10:00. Higashikaratsu Station is four minutes away by car, and parking accommodates thirty cars. Transfers are advertised for up to seven people to or from Higashikaratsu or Karatsu stations; arrange the service with the stay. Telephone reservations are accepted 8:00–21:00.
Other stops to combine within Karatsu
In central Karatsu, combine the Former Takatori Residence with Nakamachi shops on foot. Coordinate hotel meals, restaurant closing days and evening booking requirements with daytime and nighttime parking tariffs. Trips to Yobuko/Chinzei, Hamatama/Nanayama or Ouchi/Kyuragi need additional driving or bus time beyond central walks.
