花巻駅南第2駐車場は、なはんプラザの南側にある121台の市営駐車場です。東側の第1より台数が多く、鉄道利用と駅周辺の用事に使えます。料金は両区画で共通ですが、出入口の位置が異なります。車を置く区画と戻る時間を決めてから、駅や市街地へ向かえます。

121台の区画と西側の入口
第2はなはんプラザ南側、線路に沿う区画で121台を収容します。市の位置図では西側に入口、東側に出口があり、なはんプラザ東側の第1とは別の駐車場です。駅前の用事を複数済ませる日にも使えます。出る時に入口へ戻るのではなく、区画の出口と進行方向を見て移動します。駅前ロータリー内は駐車禁止のため、迎えの車も区画内で待つ形になります。
3時間100円から一日600円まで
入庫から1時間までは無料で、3時間まで100円、8時間まで300円、12時間まで500円、24時間まで600円です。1時間を超えて3時間までの待機や食事なら100円、8時間までの外出なら300円となります。最初の無料時間を過ぎると、入庫からの総時間で区分を選びます。利用が8時間を超えて12時間までなら500円です。列車での外出や駅前の食事など、用事を終える時刻を合わせて料金を計算できます。
終日の入出庫と24時間以降
入出庫を含め終日利用可能で、夜の帰着にも出庫できます。24時間を超える部分は12時間までごと300円加算で、36時間まで900円、48時間まで1,200円です。最初の24時間600円と追加時間を別に考えると、1泊を伴う外出でも計算できます。日付が変わるだけで料金を再計算する方式ではありません。翌朝まで置く日は、入庫した時刻からの経過時間を基準に帰着時刻を組み立てられます。
現金・IC・カードと券の購入
大通り一丁目地内で、駐車場の精算機は現金、交通系IC（PiTaPa以外）、iD・楽天Edy・WAON・nanaco・QUICPay、VISA・MasterCard・JCBなどのカード、PayPay・楽天ペイ・d払いなどに対応します。100円券11枚を1,000円で買える回数券は、なはんプラザの窓口で販売。一般の鉄道利用でも周辺施設への訪問でも使え、短い送迎の待機と一日外出で同じ料金表を利用できます。

Hanamaki Station South Parking2 has121 municipal spaces south of Nahan Plaza, more than the eastern Parking1. It serves rail journeys and visits around the station. The two areas share the same rates but have different entrances. Note your parking area and expected return time before heading to the station or city streets.

The121-space area and its western entrance
Parking2 holds121 vehicles south of Nahan Plaza alongside the railway. The city map places its entrance on the west and exit on the east, separate from Parking1 east of the building. It is an option when combining several errands around the station. Follow the marked exit and circulation direction rather than returning through the entrance. As parking is prohibited in the station rotary, vehicles collecting passengers should wait within a marked parking area.
From ¥100 for3h to ¥600 for24h
The first hour is free; the total is ¥100 up to3h, ¥300 up to8h, ¥500 up to12h and ¥600 up to24h. A wait or meal lasting over one but no more than three hours costs ¥100; an outing up to eight hours costs ¥300. Once past the free period, use the total duration from entry to select the band. A stay over eight but within twelve hours costs ¥500. Match your expected return from a train trip or meal with these thresholds.
Access at any hour and charges after24h
Entry and exit are available around the clock, including at night. After the first24h, add ¥300 per further period of up to12h, giving ¥900 up to36h or ¥1,200 up to48h. Separate the initial ¥600/24h band from the added periods when planning an overnight trip. Charges follow elapsed time rather than restarting when the calendar date changes. Count from your entry time when estimating the cost of leaving the vehicle until the next morning.
Cash, IC, cards and coupon books
In Odori1-chome, the payment machines accept cash, transit IC except PiTaPa, iD, Rakuten Edy, WAON, nanaco, QUICPay, cards including Visa/Mastercard/JCB, and codes such as PayPay, Rakuten Pay and d-barai. Books of eleven ¥100 tickets cost ¥1,000 at Nahan Plaza’s counter. General railway users and visitors to surrounding facilities use the same rate schedule, whether waiting briefly for a passenger or leaving the vehicle for a full day.
