新花巻駅東駐車場は、新幹線や釜石線を利用する時の市営有料駐車場です。281台を収容し、短い駐車から数日にわたる外出まで、入庫からの時間で料金が決まります。駅周辺には無料区画や送迎専用もあるため、東側の有料区画を選んだことを確認して利用できます。

東側281台と周辺区画の違い
東駐車場は胡四王一丁目の新花巻駅周辺にある有料区画で、281台です。西第1は297台、西第2は76台ですが、東と西では料金が違います。無料第2・第3、49台の送迎用区画も別にあります。駅を利用する時は、入口で駐車場名を見て料金を選べます。西口から出る宿泊送迎バスを使う旅でも、車を東側へ置いた場合は、戻る側と乗換えの移動を予定に含められます。
6・12・24時間の段階料金
6時間まで200円、12時間まで300円、24時間まで500円です。例えば午前に入れて夕方までの10時間なら300円、日帰りの外出が14時間なら500円です。最初の24時間内は、利用時間がどの区分に入るかで料金が決まります。西側の24時間無料を東側にも当てはめず、入った区画の表で計算します。駅での用事だけの日と、遠方へ列車で出かける日で、料金と駐車位置を選べます。
24時間超は12時間ごと200円
24時間を超えると、以後12時間ごとに200円が加算されます。36時間まで700円、48時間まで900円です。日付ごとの500円上限ではなく、最初の24時間と追加12時間の経過時間で計算します。入出庫は終日可能です。無料第2・第3の連続利用は5日までですが、長期の外出では市が有料駐車場利用を案内しています。送迎用の1時間区画に長時間置くのではなく、旅程に合った有料区画を使えます。
キャッシュレス決済と回数券
現金、交通系電子マネー（PiTaPa除く）、iD・楽天Edy・WAON・nanaco・QUICPay、VISA・MasterCard・JCB・American Express・Diners Club、PayPayなどに対応します。100円券11枚を1,000円で買える回数券は、市役所新館3階都市政策課で販売しています。所在地は胡四王一丁目地内。車の出入口と通路には駐車せず、駅に着く時間と列車の発車時刻の間に、区画からホームへ移動する時間を取れます。

Shin-Hanamaki Station East Parking is a municipal paid lot for Shinkansen and Kamaishi Line journeys. Its281 spaces accommodate short visits and multi-day trips, with charges based on time since entry. The281-space eastern lot and neighbouring areas
The eastern paid lot in Koshio1-chome holds281 vehicles. West Parking1 has297 and West Parking2 has76, with rates differing from the east. Separate free lots2/3 and a49-space pickup area also surround the station. Check the lot name at entry. If connecting to an accommodation shuttle from the west exit while leaving your car on the east, allow for the cross-station movement and remember which side to return to.
Charges at6,12 and24 hours
Charges are ¥200 up to6h, ¥300 up to12h and ¥500 up to24h. Ten hours from morning to evening costs ¥300; a fourteen-hour day trip costs ¥500. Within the first24h, choose the band containing your total stay. Do not apply the western lots’24h free period to the eastern lot. Select the parking location and cost according to whether you are making a short station visit or travelling farther by train.
Beyond24h, add ¥200 per12h
After24h, add ¥200 per further12h period: ¥700 up to36h or ¥900 up to48h. This is not a ¥500 cap for each calendar date; it follows the initial24h and subsequent12h intervals. Entry and exit are possible around the clock. The separate free lots2/3 limit continuous use to five days; the city directs longer trips to paid parking. Use a paid area for the journey rather than leaving a vehicle for hours in the one-hour pickup area.
Cashless payments and coupon tickets
Payment includes cash, transit IC except PiTaPa, iD, Rakuten Edy, WAON, nanaco, QUICPay, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club and codes such as PayPay. Books of eleven ¥100 coupons cost ¥1,000 at the city Urban Policy Division on floor three of the new city-hall building. The location is in Koshio1-chome. Keep entrances and circulation lanes clear and allow walking time from your parking space to the platform before the train departs.
