国道290号沿いの車種別無料駐車
栃尾宮沢1764にあり、道の駅と隣接する栃尾産業交流センターおりなすの周辺で休憩できます。駐車区画は普通車74台、大型6台、二輪車40台、身障者用3台、思いやり3台、自転車12台で、料金は無料です。自転車と二輪車を含む区画全体の数を自動車台数とは区別し、車種に合う場所を利用できます。
24時間のトイレと昼間の館内
トイレ・公衆電話・自動販売機は24時間開放されています。館内の基本時間は9～17時で、1・2月の平日は10～16時、1月2・3日は15時までです。館内の年末年始休業は12月31日・1月1日。駐車中の休憩と売店での買い物は利用できる時間が異なるため、冬のドライブでも立ち寄る目的に合わせて考えられます。
油揚げの食事と売店、各店の時間
物産販売コーナーには栃尾の油揚げや米、地酒、てまりなどがあり、レストランでは油揚げの焼き・煮定食などを選べます。揚げたて油揚げ販売は通常平日10時30分、土日祝10時から17時までで、1・2月の平日は10～16時、12月31日～1月2日は休みです。農産物直売所は冬季休業。館内全体の開館だけで個々の店の営業を判断せず、食事の目的に合わせて訪ねられます。
長岡・見附・魚沼方面からのルート
長岡ICから国道8号・351号経由で約40分、中之島見附ICから同じく国道8号・351号経由で約30分です。魚沼ICからは国道252号・290号経由約50分。栃尾美術館や市街地の油揚げ店へ向かう前後に、道の駅で休憩と観光情報の入手を組み合わせられます。夜間の駐車は周辺に響く音を抑え、車内や家庭のごみを持ち込まない利用条件です。
長岡市内で組み合わせる訪問先
道の駅を休憩拠点に、栃尾美術館と豆撰を巡れます。よもやま舘は別地域の蓬平温泉の宿です。道の駅の駐車場を旅館の駐車場として使う計画ではなく、栃尾での食事と見学を終えて車で移動する行程になります。冬は売店や直売所の営業時間も分けて選べます。

Free parking by vehicle type on Route 290
At 1764 Tochio Miyazawa, the roadside station is beside the Orinasu industrial exchange centre. Free spaces comprise seventy-four standard car bays, six large-vehicle bays, forty motorcycle spaces, three accessible and three priority bays, plus twelve bicycle spaces. Use the section matching the vehicle; the overall count includes motorcycles and bicycles as well as cars.
Round-the-clock toilets and daytime indoor facilities
Toilets, a public telephone and vending machines are available 24 hours. Normal building hours are 9:00–17:00, shortened to 10:00–16:00 on January and February weekdays and until 15:00 on January 2 and 3. The building closes December 31 and January 1. Plan rest stops and indoor shopping according to their different schedules, especially in winter.
Aburage meals, shops and individual opening hours
The shop sells Tochio aburage, rice, sake and temari crafts, while the restaurant serves grilled and simmered aburage sets. The freshly fried aburage counter normally opens 10:30–17:00 weekdays and 10:00–17:00 weekends and holidays, shortened to 10:00–16:00 on January and February weekdays; it closes December 31–January 2. The produce stand closes for winter. Individual outlet schedules differ from the main building.
Routes from Nagaoka, Mitsuke and Uonuma
The listed drive is around forty minutes from Nagaoka Interchange via Routes 8 and 351, or thirty from Nakanoshima-mitsuke using the same roads. Uonuma Interchange is around fifty minutes via Routes 252 and 290. Combine a rest and visitor information here with the Tochio art museum or town’s tofu shops. Night parking conditions require quiet use and exclude disposal of household or in-car rubbish.
Other stops to combine within Nagaoka
Use the roadside station as a break while visiting Tochio Art Museum and Mamesen. Yomoyamakan is in a separate hot-spring area. Drive onwards after Tochio sightseeing rather than treating this lot as accommodation parking, and account for individual shop and produce-stand winter schedules.
