20分無料と1時間ごとの計算
入庫から20分までは無料です。20分を超えて1時間までは100円、その後は1時間ごとに100円を加算し、1時間未満の端数は1時間として計算します。無料時間を超えた後に20分を差し引く方式ではありません。例えば2時間までの利用は200円、10時間ちょうどは1,000円です。短時間の送迎でも、列車到着から乗車準備まで含む場内滞在時間で精算するため、待ち合わせの長さによって区分が変わります。
10時間を超える利用と日をまたぐ駐車
駐車時間が10時間を超えて24時間以内の場合は1,040円です。24時間を超える場合は、同じ方法で計算した料金が加算されます。24時間ずつ利用した場合は1日目1,040円、48時間なら合計2,080円となる計算です。日付が変わる時刻ではなく、入庫からの経過時間で予定を組めます。通勤通学向けの月極利用もありますが、時間貸しとは別契約で、現在は月極が満車・空き待ち予約の受付という状況です。
車両の大きさと利用できる区画
普通車100台のうち4台が身障者用駐車スペースです。利用対象の普通自動車などは、積載物も含め長さ5m以内、幅2m以内、高さ2.3m以内が基準です。屋根の荷物や車体に追加した装備がある場合は、車両全体の寸法で選べます。所在地は上日置町4778、新八代駅東口側です。駅周辺の南口や民間駐車場とは料金や車両条件が異なり、東口の市営区画に入庫して利用します。
カード・電子マネーと千円札の条件
Visa、Mastercard、JCB、American Express、Diners Clubのカード決済、交通系電子マネーやnanaco・楽天Edy・WAON・iD・QUICPayに対応します。PayPay、d払い、au PAY、楽天ペイ、メルペイのコード決済も利用できます。現金精算では千円札だけを使え、五千円札・一万円札には対応しません。列車利用の前に現金の額面と決済方法を用意すると、帰着後の出庫も組み立てやすくなります。

Twenty free minutes and hourly charging
The first twenty minutes are free. Beyond twenty minutes and up to one hour costs ¥100; each further hour costs ¥100, with any fraction rounded up. The initial twenty minutes are not deducted after the free period has been exceeded. A stay through two hours therefore costs ¥200, while exactly ten hours costs ¥1,000. Even for a station pickup, the total time inside the car park includes waiting and getting ready to leave.
Stays exceeding ten hours and overnight parking
A stay of more than ten hours through twenty-four hours costs ¥1,040. Beyond twenty-four hours, charges calculated in the same way are added. Two complete twenty-four-hour periods therefore total ¥2,080. Plan by time elapsed from entry rather than the calendar changing at midnight. Monthly commuter parking is a separate contract; the monthly allocation is currently full, with waiting-list applications accepted.
Vehicle dimensions and accessible spaces
Four of the one hundred spaces are designated accessible bays. Eligible cars and similar vehicles must be within 5m long, 2m wide and 2.3m high, including their loads. Roof luggage or additional equipment must fit within the overall dimensions. The address is 4778 Kamihiokimachi on the station’s east side. The southern and private parking areas nearby have different charges and restrictions; these conditions apply to the municipal east-side facility.
