時間貸し料金は税込60分100円、24時間ごと最大500円です。2時間なら200円、5時間分で500円となり、それより長く24時間まで停める場合も最大500円の区分で利用できます。24時間ごとの最大料金なので、連続48時間の駐車は合計1,000円となる計算です。駅での買い物や送迎だけでなく、列車で出かけて戻る日程にも使える料金構成です。無料時間がある市営東口とは計算が異なります。
パーク＆ライドと月極契約の違い
この駐車場には時間制のパーク＆ライド割引がありません。新幹線や特急を使う場合も、時間貸しは60分100円・24時間ごと最大500円の料金です。JR定期券やエクセルパス向けの割引は月極契約の区分で、旅行の当日に切符を提示して時間料金を下げる制度とは別です。現在、新規の月極契約は募集していません。一般の時間貸し利用と、募集状況のある月極契約を分けて選べます。
ゲート式104台と交通系IC
収容は104台で、出入口はゲート式です。24時間利用でき、交通系ICでの支払いにも対応しています。上日置町4774-2が所在地で、市営東口や駅周辺の別運営のコインパーキングとは別の駐車場です。車を停めた後は、使う列車に合わせて新幹線側・在来線側の駅出入口へ向かいます。駅に近い区画でも、駐車料金の精算と列車の改札通過は別の手続きなので、乗車前後に移動時間を組み込めます。
南口の場所と営業所の受付時間
利用先の名称は新八代駅南口駐車場、物件コード94389902です。24時間の駐車場利用に対し、時間貸しを扱う熊本営業所の受付は10～17時・無休です。夜間も停められることと、営業所が電話を受ける時間は同じではありません。新八代駅には複数の駐車区画があるため、長い旅行から戻る場合は、南口の所在地と停めた場所を控えておくと、荷物を持って車へ戻る動線を選びやすくなります。

Hourly parking costs ¥100 per sixty minutes including tax, capped at ¥500 for each twenty-four hours. Two hours therefore cost ¥200; five hours reach ¥500, with longer stays through twenty-four hours remaining in that maximum band. Two complete twenty-four-hour periods total ¥1,000. The structure suits short station visits as well as journeys away by train. It differs from the municipal east-side car park’s free initial period.
Park-and-ride and monthly contracts
There is no hourly park-and-ride discount at this facility. Using a shinkansen or limited-express train does not change the hourly rate of ¥100 per sixty minutes or the ¥500 maximum per twenty-four hours. JR commuter-pass and Excel Pass reductions belong to monthly contracts, rather than a ticket-validation scheme for an individual trip. New monthly contracts are currently not being accepted. Ordinary hourly use and the availability of monthly agreements are separate matters.
