日奈久中町にあり、観光案内を無料で利用できます。日奈久には焼きちくわの店や竹細工の工房、路地の景観など、温泉以外にも町歩きの楽しみがあります。到着後に行きたい場所の位置を整理し、入浴と食事、帰りの交通を合わせて歩く順序を決める立ち寄り先になります。地域の観光情報を扱う窓口なので、温泉街全体の散策と個別の施設訪問を組み合わせる際にも使いやすい場所です。大きな観光施設の見学とは違う形で町に触れられます。
案内所は17時30分、貸室は22時まで
観光案内所は9～17時30分です。多目的ホールなどの利用時間は9～22時ですが、貸室の利用申込がない場合は17時30分までとなります。夜まで開く日があっても、観光案内の受付時間がそのまま22時に延びるものではありません。毎月第3火曜は祝日の場合を除いて休館し、祝日の場合は翌日、1月1～3日も休館です。夕方に温泉から立ち寄る場合や、翌日の町歩きの情報を得る場合は、案内所の終了時間に合わせられます。
ホールやステージを借りる場合の料金
貸スペースにはステージ、多目的ホールA・B、交流スペース、屋外スペースがあります。ホールAまたはBは午前9～12時620円、午後13～17時・夜18～22時各830円、全日2,090円。交流スペースは午前310円、午後・夜各410円、全日1,040円です。ステージ全日は1,570円で、目的に合わせて区画と時間帯を選べます。利用する際は施設で申請書に記入する必要があります。無料の観光案内と、料金を支払って使う会場を分けて利用できます。
再開した交流施設を旅の起点にする

Start a walk around the spa town
Visitor information is free at the Nakamachi location. Hinagu offers chikuwa fish-cake shops, bamboo-craft workshops and atmospheric lanes as well as hot springs. Stop after arrival to locate the places you want to visit and fit walking around a bath, meal and return transport. The local-information desk helps connect the spa town as a whole with individual facilities. It offers an introduction to the neighbourhood rather than a large attraction requiring a fixed sightseeing programme.
Information until 17:30 and hired spaces until 22:00
The information centre operates 09:00–17:30. Multipurpose spaces can be hired during 09:00–22:00, but the building closes at 17:30 when there is no space booking. Evening venue opening does not extend the visitor-information service to 22:00. Closed the third Tuesday each month, moving to the following day if a holiday, and January 1–3. Fit an information stop after bathing, or preparation for the following day’s walk, around the desk’s earlier closing time.
Fees for hiring the hall or stage
Hire options include a stage, multipurpose halls A and B, an exchange space and an outdoor area. Each hall costs ¥620 for 09:00–12:00, ¥830 for 13:00–17:00 or 18:00–22:00, or ¥2,090 for the full day. The exchange space is ¥310 in the morning, ¥410 in either later session or ¥1,040 all day. Full-day stage hire is ¥1,570. Select the area and session for the intended activity; an application must be completed at the facility. Paid venue hire is separate from free tourism information.
Use the reopened centre as a local starting point

Residents also use the building as a community space. Banpeiyu, elsewhere in Hinagu Nakamachi, provides a separate bathing destination that can be combined with an information stop and a town walk. On days with hall events, distinguish the venue’s booked operating period from the information desk’s regular service hours.
