Sansuikaku at Osawa Onsen is a Japanese-style ryokan overlooking the Toyosawa River, with riverside bathing and a monthly changing menu. Communal baths, family baths and the neighbouring Tojiya bathing areas have different access rules. Distinguish the day-bathing reception from baths reserved for Sansuikaku overnight guests when planning a stay.

川沿いの旅館と禁煙の客室
和室のほか、ベッドを使える和洋室も用意し、全客室禁煙です。客室内の檜風呂は温泉ではなく、露天風呂付き客室はありません。温泉に入る時は館内の浴場へ向かいます。チェックイン15時、チェックアウト10時30分で、プランにより異なる場合があります。館内Wi-Fiに対応。車椅子で館内を移動できますが、客室トイレは車椅子のまま入れず、畳の上では車椅子を使えない条件があります。
宿泊者の風呂と無料の家族風呂
「山水の湯」は山水閣の宿泊者専用、「豊沢の湯」は日帰り客も使う浴場で、ともに清掃時を除き24時間対応です。貸切家族風呂は3か所、山水閣宿泊者が無料で利用でき、鍵が空いていれば入れます。時間は15～24時と翌6～10時。日帰り客は使えません。湯治屋の大沢の湯なども宿泊中に巡れますが、混浴露天の大沢の湯は20～21時が女性専用です。客室滞在と湯巡りをゆっくり組み合わせられます。
月替わり会席と外来入浴の受付
夕食は地元の旬を使う月替わり会席で、松風・白楽天や人数に応じた宴会場、朝食は松風のバイキングです。苦手な食材やアレルギーの相談は前日までに伝える形です。立寄り入浴は山水閣ではなく湯治屋で受け付け、大人700円・子供400円、7～20時30分受付・21時終了。利用できるのは湯治屋の浴場と山水閣の豊沢の湯で、清掃による休止があります。宿泊者専用の浴場まで自由に入れる日帰り券ではありません。
予約する駅送迎と南ICからの道
湯口字大沢181、花巻南ICから県道12号線で車約15分、無料駐車場があります。宿泊者向け駅送迎は新花巻駅から15時10分・16時10分・17時10分、花巻駅は各15分後発です。迎えは予約時または利用4日前まで、送りは前日20時まで予約します。2026年9月1日から3歳以上1人1回100円の協力金を退館時に精算。帰りの10時50分発の大沢温泉バスは山水閣宿泊者専用です。

市街地、温泉地、大迫・東和・石鳥谷の移動時間を取り、見学・食事・宿泊の予定を組み合わせられます。
Riverside accommodation and non-smoking rooms
Accommodation includes Japanese rooms and Japanese-Western rooms with beds; all guest rooms are non-smoking. In-room cypress baths do not contain hot-spring water, and there are no rooms with private outdoor baths. Use the communal bathing areas for the spring. Standard check-in is 15:00 and checkout 10:30, subject to the booked plan. Wi-Fi is provided. Wheelchair movement is possible in the building, but guest-room toilets cannot be entered while seated in a wheelchair, and wheelchairs are not used on tatami.
Guest bathing and free family baths
Sansui no Yu is reserved for Sansuikaku overnight guests; Toyosawa no Yu also admits day visitors. Both operate around the clock except cleaning. Three private family baths are free for Sansuikaku guests: enter when the lock indicates availability, 15:00–24:00 and 06:00–10:00. Day visitors cannot use them. Staying guests can also visit the Tojiya baths. Its mixed outdoor Osawa no Yu is women-only 20:00–21:00. Combine unhurried time in the room with visits to the different baths.
Monthly kaiseki and day-bathing reception
Dinner is a monthly kaiseki menu using seasonal local ingredients, served in Matsukaze, Hakurakuten or a function room for larger groups. Breakfast is a buffet in Matsukaze. Discuss allergies or disliked ingredients by the previous day. Day bathing is received at Tojiya rather than Sansuikaku: adults ¥700, children ¥400, reception 07:00–20:30 and bathing until 21:00. Access covers Tojiya baths and Toyosawa no Yu, subject to cleaning closures; the ticket does not include overnight-guest-only baths.
Reserved station transfers and road access
At 181 Osawa, Yuguchi, allow around fifteen minutes from Hanamaki-Minami IC along Prefectural Route 12; parking is free. Guest pickups leave Shin-Hanamaki at 15:10, 16:10 and 17:10, calling at Hanamaki Station fifteen minutes later. Reserve pickup when booking or four days before use, and the return by 20:00 the previous day. Since September 1, 2026, a ¥100 contribution per ride for each person aged three or over is paid at checkout. The 10:50 Osawa Onsen return bus is exclusively for Sansuikaku guests.
