酸ヶ湯温泉旅館｜千人風呂と湯治棟、11月休館・12月日帰り改定の案内

酸ヶ湯温泉旅館は、八甲田山の西麓で湯治の歴史を伝える宿です。大きなヒバ造りの浴室で入浴するだけでなく、旅館棟で食事付きの滞在を選んだり、湯治棟の簡素な部屋で長く過ごしたりできます。浴場の男女区分、客室のトイレ、山間部への交通を確認して選ぶことが大切です。

Sukayu Onsen Ryokan preserves the tradition of extended bathing stays on the western side of the Hakkoda mountains. Guests can choose accommodation in the ryokan wings or simpler rooms in the long-stay wings, alongside the large hiba-wood bath. Bathing arrangements, room toilets and mountain transport are useful points to consider when booking.

旅館棟と湯治棟の違い

旅館棟にはベッド付きの1号館と、和室を中心とするイ棟・7号館があります。1号館はトイレ・洗面付き。湯治棟でも3号館にはトイレ付きの部屋がありますが、共同の洗面所やトイレを使う部屋もあるため、必要な設備を部屋タイプで選びます。

湯治棟は長期滞在向けの簡素な部屋で、布団の上げ下ろしはセルフサービスです。自炊用の共同炊事場があり、鍋や食器の貸出は数に限りがあります。食事付きの場合は食事処を利用します。階段の移動やトイレまでの距離を重視する場合は、予約時に希望を伝えます。

混浴・男女別浴場と湯あみ着

総ヒバ造りの「ヒバ千人風呂」は混浴で、女性専用時間は毎日8～9時と20～21時です。「玉の湯」は常時男女別。千人風呂と玉の湯は源泉が異なります。入浴の形が異なる二つの浴場を、同行者や過ごしたい時間に合わせて利用できます。

湯あみ着の着用は任意で、男女とも500円でレンタルできます。売店での貸出時間は7～20時。着用できるのは館内で販売・貸出している湯あみ着に限られ、持込み品は利用できません。客室と公共エリアは電子たばこを含め禁煙で、喫煙は館内所定の喫煙所を利用します。

日帰り入浴は12月に時間・料金変更

2026年11月30日までの日帰り入浴は、大人1,000円・小学生500円。千人風呂は7～18時（受付17時30分まで）、玉の湯は9～17時（受付16時30分まで）です。千人風呂の8～9時は女性専用となります。11月の全館休館とその前後の変更時間は、次項の予定が優先します。

12月1日からは両浴場とも9～16時、受付15時30分までに変更予定です。1日料金は中学生以上1,500円、小学生500円、未就学児無料。休憩スペースは9～15時、券売機は現金のみで、貸出バスタオルと持ち帰り用フェイスタオルが付きます。これは日帰り利用の改定で、宿泊料金とは別の案内です。

11月16～18日の全館休館

館内設備のメンテナンスにより、2026年11月16日（月）～18日（水）は全館休館予定です。前日の15日は日帰り入浴と売店が17時、そば処鬼面庵が16時に終了。19日は日帰り入浴・売店・鬼面庵を12時から再開する予定です。

電話対応は11月15日15時～19日13時の間、休止する案内です。休館をまたぐ相談や送迎予約は、この電話受付休止も含めて早めに済ませておきます。

新青森駅からの送迎と冬のアクセス

宿泊者用の無料送迎は予約制で、新青森駅東口から10時15分・14時に出発し、所要約60分。帰りは酸ヶ湯8時50分・12時30分発です。宿泊予約時に利用を申し込みます。車では無料駐車150台が先着順で、降雪期は冬用タイヤ等の準備と、出発前の道路規制確認が必要です。

路線バスは2026年11月12日～2027年3月31日、青森～酸ヶ湯の「はっこうだ号」へ切り替わり、青森から奥入瀬・十和田湖へは直通しません。2・4・6号を青森駅または停車する新青森駅から利用する場合はネット予約が必要で、予約料1席300円と運賃は別です。宿泊者用の無料送迎とは異なるサービスです。

Ryokan wings and long-stay wings

The ryokan accommodation includes Building 1 with beds and the I and 7 wings with Japanese-style rooms. Building 1 has private toilets and washbasins. Building 3 in the long-stay area also has rooms with toilets, while other rooms use shared facilities; choose the room category to match your needs.

The simpler long-stay rooms require guests to lay out and put away their own futons. Shared kitchens are available, with a limited supply of pans and dishes to borrow. Meal-inclusive bookings use the dining area. Mention requirements concerning stairs or proximity to toilets when reserving.

Mixed bathing, separate baths and bathing garments

The hiba-wood Hiba Sennin Buro is mixed, with women-only hours every day from 08:00 to 09:00 and 20:00 to 21:00. Tama no Yu is always separated by gender and uses a different spring source. Choose between the bathing arrangements to suit your party and schedule.

Bathing garments are optional and can be rented by men and women for ¥500 at the shop from 07:00 to 20:00. Only garments sold or rented by the property may be worn; guests cannot bring their own. Rooms and public areas are non-smoking, including electronic cigarettes; smoking is restricted to the designated smoking room.

Day-bathing changes in December

Through November 30, 2026, day bathing costs ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for primary-school children. The Hiba bath is open 07:00–18:00, last admission 17:30; Tama no Yu is open 09:00–17:00, last admission 16:30. The Hiba bath is women-only from 08:00 to 09:00. The November closure and adjacent-day exceptions below override these usual hours.

From December 1, both baths are scheduled to operate for day visitors from 09:00 to 16:00, with last admission at 15:30. Daily admission becomes ¥1,500 for junior-high age and above, ¥500 for primary-school children and free for preschool children. Rest areas open 09:00–15:00. Tickets are cash only and include a rental bath towel and a face towel to keep. These changes concern day visits, separately from accommodation prices.

Full closure on November 16–18

The entire property is scheduled to close for maintenance from Monday, November 16 to Wednesday, November 18, 2026. On November 15, day bathing and the shop finish at 17:00 and Onimen-an soba restaurant at 16:00. Day bathing, the shop and Onimen-an are scheduled to resume at 12:00 on November 19.

Telephone service is scheduled to be suspended from 15:00 on November 15 until 13:00 on November 19. Arrange questions about stays around the closure and transfer reservations in advance of that telephone interruption.

Transfers from Shin-Aomori and winter access

The reservation-only complimentary shuttle for overnight guests leaves Shin-Aomori Station’s east exit at 10:15 and 14:00 and takes about an hour. Return departures from Sukayu are 08:50 and 12:30. Request seats when booking the stay. There are 150 free first-come parking spaces; in snowy conditions, prepare winter tyres or other required equipment and check road restrictions before leaving.

From November 12, 2026 to March 31, 2027, public buses use the Aomori–Sukayu Hakkoda service, without through service from Aomori to Oirase or Lake Towada. Services 2, 4 and 6 require online reservations when boarding at Aomori or, where served, Shin-Aomori. The ¥300-per-seat reservation fee is separate from the fare. This is distinct from the inn’s complimentary guest shuttle.
