潮香ノ宿 髙平屋は、北浦の港を見渡しながら食事と客室での時間を楽しむ料理宿です。2013年に「泊まれる料理処」として誕生し、地元の魚介を生かした食事を中心に滞在を組み立てます。個室での食事と客室風呂を組み合わせ、二人旅や家族の記念日にも選べます。

港を見渡す本館の客室
本館の客室は北浦湾を見渡せる高台にあり、半露天の陶器風呂が付いています。海風や朝の光を感じながら、客室の中でゆっくり過ごせる構成です。小さな宿の本館と姉妹施設では部屋や所在地が異なります。予約では「潮香ノ宿髙平屋（延岡 本館）」と客室タイプを選び、人数や食事内容に合うプランを組み合わせます。
漁師町の食材を予約して味わう
宿は料理処丸金から発展し、北浦で仕入れる魚介を生かした食事を提供しています。季節やプランで料理の内容を選び、個室での食事を楽しめます。食事だけの利用も可能ですが、2日前までの予約が必要です。昼は12～14時、夜は18時30分～21時に営業し不定休。飲物は生・瓶ビール、焼酎、日本酒、ワイン、ソフトドリンクなどがあります。
客室風呂の性質と到着の時刻
客室の半露天風呂は温泉ではありません。大浴場はなく、日帰り入浴も受け付けていません。自分たちの部屋の風呂を使う滞在です。チェックインは16～18時、チェックアウト10時で、到着が遅れる場合は事前連絡が必要です。夕食の時間もあるため、北浦の海辺や展望地を回る予定は宿へ到着する時刻から逆算して組み込めます。
高台への行き方と支払い
所在地は北浦町古江鶴山2927-7。無料駐車場は宿から約20m離れています。延岡駅から車で約30分が目安です。カーナビで案内されない場合があり、施設名は「潮香ノ宿髙平屋（延岡 本館）」で検索します。支払いはVISA、Mastercard、JCB、American Express、Diners Club、Discoverに対応。宿泊料金は客室や食事、利用日を選ぶ予約プランで決まります。

Main-building rooms overlooking the harbour
The main building sits above Kitaura Bay, with semi-open ceramic baths attached to its rooms. Harbour scenery and morning light form part of a stay spent at an unhurried pace. The main inn and its sister property have different locations and rooms; select Takahiraya’s Nobeoka main building and the appropriate room type when choosing a plan.
Reserved meals from a fishing-town kitchen
The inn grew from Marukin restaurant and serves seafood sourced around Kitaura. Select the seasonal meal plan that suits the occasion and dine in a private setting. Dining without staying is available with reservations at least two days ahead. Lunch runs 12:00–14:00 and dinner 18:30–21:00, with irregular closing days. Drinks include beer, shochu, sake, wine and soft drinks.
Bathing facilities and arrival times
The semi-open room baths are not supplied with hot-spring water. There is no communal bath and day bathing is unavailable; bathing takes place in your own room. Check-in is 16:00–18:00 and check-out 10:00. Contact the inn beforehand if arriving late. Work coastal visits and viewpoints around the arrival time and evening meal.
Finding the hilltop inn and payment
The address is 2927-7 Furue-Tsuruyama, Kitaura; free parking is about twenty metres away. Allow roughly thirty minutes by car from Nobeoka Station. The inn may not appear correctly in an older car-navigation system, so use its Nobeoka main-building name. Accepted cards include Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club and Discover. The booked date, room and meals determine the accommodation rate.
