Yomogihira Onsen Izumiya combines mountain hot springs with seasonal course dining. Three bathing areas and optional paid private baths provide several ways to enjoy the water. Rooms include Japanese-style accommodation, rooms with beds and barrier-free twins, with reserved free transfers from Nagaoka Station for overnight guests.

和室からバリアフリーツインまで
客室には和室、和洋室、檜風呂付き客室、バリアフリーツインなどがあります。南館の和洋スイートはベッドと畳の空間を備え、中央館にもベッドを使う客室があります。全室禁煙です。客室風呂は露天風呂を含め温泉ではありません。温泉は館内の湯処で楽しみ、客室では寝具や浴室の仕様、人数に合わせて休める部屋を選べます。
月・星・風の湯と45分の貸切風呂
温泉はアルカリ性単純硫黄冷鉱泉で、宿泊者の湯処利用は15～24時と5～10時です。月・星・風の三つの湯処を備えます。貸切「花ごよみ」は45分2,420円、「やま野」は45分3,850円で、当日8時から予約を受け付けます。やま野は洗い場も屋外です。刺青のある人は大浴場を利用できず、有料貸切風呂を利用します。
季節の会席と10月の休館予定
夕食は季節の食材を取り入れた会席で、18時又は19時に開始し、目安は1時間30分～2時間です。朝食はハーフバイキングで、時間帯はチェックイン時に選びます。ラウンジのドリンク等は7時30分～20時30分、日本酒コーナーは有料です。2026年10月27日は全館休館、28日は午前休館の予定なので、日帰り利用や到着日の計画に反映できます。
前日18時までの送迎予約と無料駐車
所在地は蓬平町甲1508-2です。2026年8月8日からの山古志竹沢の通行止めに伴い、宿は山古志方面を避け、長岡方面から県道23号を通る通常ルートを案内しています。無料駐車場50台、3kWのEV充電器2台は1時間200円です。宿泊者の無料送迎は長岡駅東口発14時30分・15時30分・16時30分、所要約30分、帰りは宿発10時。前日18時までに電話予約が必要で、予約がなければ運行しません。日帰り昼食の送迎とは時刻が異なります。
長岡市内で組み合わせる訪問先
蓬平への往復に宮内・摂田屋を加え、醸蔵や青島食堂を訪ねる行程も組めます。市営摂田屋駐車場は17時閉門で、和泉屋の無料50台とは別です。駅発送迎を使う日は前日18時までに予約し、訪問先と和泉屋の休館日を確認して予定を組めます。
Japanese rooms and barrier-free twins
Options include Japanese rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, rooms with hinoki baths and barrier-free twins. South-wing Japanese-Western suites combine beds and tatami, while the central wing also offers rooms with beds. All rooms are nonsmoking. Room baths, including open-air baths, do not use hot-spring water. Enjoy spring bathing in the communal areas and choose a room by bedding, bathroom layout and party size.
Tsuki, Hoshi and Kaze baths and 45-minute private sessions
The alkaline simple sulphur cold mineral spring supplies three bathing areas, Tsuki, Hoshi and Kaze. Overnight-guest bathing is listed at 15:00–24:00 and 5:00–10:00. Private Hanagoyomi costs ¥2,420 for 45 minutes and Yamano ¥3,850, with same-day reservations from 8:00. Yamano also has an outdoor washing area. Tattooed guests use paid private baths rather than the communal baths.
Seasonal dining and October closures
Dinner is a seasonal course meal starting at 18:00 or 19:00, normally taking one and a half to two hours. Breakfast is a partly buffet-style meal, with the session selected at check-in. Lounge drinks and related facilities are available 7:30–20:30; the sake corner is paid. The inn is scheduled to close all day October 27, 2026, and during the morning of October 28. Account for these dates when planning arrival or day use.
Transfers booked by 18:00 the previous day and free parking
The address is Ko 1508-2 Yomogihiramachi. Following the road closure at Yamakoshi Takezawa from August 8, 2026, the inn directs visitors away from the Yamakoshi approach and onto the normal route from Nagaoka via Prefectural Route 23. Fifty free parking spaces and two 3 kW EV chargers are provided; charging costs ¥200 per hour. Free overnight-guest transfers leave Nagaoka Station’s east exit at 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30, taking around thirty minutes, with the return leaving the inn at 10:00. Book by telephone by 18:00 the previous day; unreserved services do not run. Day-lunch transfers use a different schedule.
Other stops to combine within Nagaoka
A journey to Yomogihira can include Johgura and Aoshima in Miyauchi and Settaya. Settaya Municipal Parking closes at 17:00 and is separate from Izumiya’s fifty free spaces. Book station transfers by 18:00 the previous day, checking the operating dates of other stops and Izumiya.
