食堂はまかぜは、漁師町赤須賀のはまぐりプラザ2階にある昼食の食堂です。桑名産の蛤を焼く定食、フライを丼仕立てにした蛤丼、蛤のうま味を使ったうどんなどを選べます。館内展示や川沿いの散策と組み合わせる場合も、食堂の短い昼営業時間を先に決めて訪れると利用しやすくなります。

桑名産の蛤を焼き物・フライ・うどんで

定食では目の前のコンロで蛤を焼きながら食べられ、蛤フライなどを組み合わせます。蛤丼は桑名産の大蛤のむき身をフライにし、特製のたれで丼にした料理です。蛤うどんには桑名産の蛤を使います。献立の内容や添え物は季節によって変わります。

予約限定2,700円と当日受付の献立

焼きはまぐり定食2,700円だけが予約対象で、電話又は窓口から前日までに手配します。予約数には限りがあります。赤須賀定食2,200円、蛤丼1,500円、蛤うどん1,000円は予約なしの来店受付順です。白魚丼1,500円は1月上旬～3月初旬頃の季節限定で、秋の通年メニューではありません。

LO13時の昼食と施設の休館日

食堂は11～13時30分、オーダーストップ13時、火曜定休です。はまぐりプラザ全体の開館時間9～17時や貸室の夜間利用時間とは異なります。施設は12月29日～1月3日休館。食堂の予約電話は0594-22-6010です。展示の見学を先にする場合も、昼食の受付に間に合う順序で回れます。

赤須賀のはまぐりプラザ2階へ

所在地は赤須賀86-21、はまぐりプラザ2階です。三重交通バスの赤須賀停留所から徒歩約1分、施設駐車場は15台の案内です。漁業や赤須賀の歴史を紹介する館内の展示と食堂を同じ訪問に組み合わせられます。川沿いへ歩く場合は、食後に車へ戻る時刻も含めて利用します。

桑名市の観光・食事と滞在を組み合わせる

赤須賀の昼食と市立博物館を回り、駅東口で泊まれます。食堂のLO13時と展示の休館日を合わせて順序を決め、中央町に車を置く場合は赤須賀までの移動時間も含めて利用できます。

Hamakaze serves lunch on the second floor of Hamaguri Plaza in the fishing neighbourhood of Akasuka. Choices include grilled Kuwana clams, a rice bowl topped with fried clams and clam-flavoured udon. Plan around the short lunch window when combining dining with the building’s displays or a riverside walk.

Kuwana clams grilled, fried or with udon

Set meals include clams grilled on a tabletop stove, paired with items such as fried clams. The clam rice bowl uses fried meat from large Kuwana clams with a house sauce. Clam udon also uses Kuwana clams. Set contents and accompanying dishes vary seasonally.

The ¥2,700 reserved set and walk-in dishes

Only the ¥2,700 grilled-clam set is reserved, by telephone or at the counter by the previous day, with limited reservation numbers. The ¥2,200 Akasuka set, ¥1,500 clam bowl and ¥1,000 clam udon are served in walk-in arrival order. The ¥1,500 whitebait bowl is seasonal, around early January–early March, rather than an autumn year-round dish.

Lunch with last orders at 13:00 and building closures

The restaurant opens 11:00–13:30, with orders ending at 13:00, and closes Tuesdays. These hours differ from the plaza’s general 9:00–17:00 opening and evening room hire. The building closes December 29–January 3. The restaurant reservation number is 0594-22-6010. Allow for the meal cutoff even when viewing the displays first.

Go to the second floor of Hamaguri Plaza in Akasuka

The restaurant is on the second floor of Hamaguri Plaza at 86-21 Akasuka, about a minute from the Mie Kotsu Akasuka bus stop, with fifteen listed parking spaces. The building also introduces local fishing and Akasuka history, making displays and lunch possible in one visit. Include the return to the car when planning a riverside walk afterward.

Combine Kuwana visits, dining and a stay

Combine Akasuka lunch with the city museum and an east-station stay. Set the order around the restaurant’s 13:00 cutoff and exhibition closure dates, allowing separate travel to Akasuka if parking in Chuomachi.
