季節の和菓子と作りたての甘味

書画を飾る16席の喫茶室で、菓子と抹茶、煎茶又は紅茶を組み合わせられます。蒸菓子のセットは選ぶ菓子によって金額が異なります。ほかにぜんざい、志ら玉などの甘味があります。夏季限定のかき氷は季節の献立なので、秋の通常メニューとは分けて選べます。

和菓子屋としての歩みと本店の喫茶

花乃舎の沿革では明治7年に京都から菓子職人を招き、和菓子の商いを始めています。平成8年に現在の本店へ店舗と工場を移し、喫茶室を併設しました。店内で食べる甘味と持ち帰りの季節菓子を組み合わせられます。アピタ桑名店の取扱売場とは別に、この南魚町の本店に喫茶室があります。

販売8時30分と喫茶9時、休業範囲

販売は8時30分～18時、喫茶は9～17時でラストオーダー16時30分です。販売の通常定休は月曜で、年末・ゴールデンウィークの月曜に営業する案内があります。一方、喫茶は月曜に加えて年末年始、ゴールデンウィーク、一部祝日が休業です。買い物ができる日に喫茶も必ず開くとは限らないため、休憩を目的にする日は喫茶の営業区分で予定を組めます。

南魚町88と近くの9台の駐車場

所在地は南魚町88、電話0594-22-1320です。三重交通バスの田町停留所から徒歩約2分。駐車場は店から3軒となりの空き地に9台分あり、看板が目印です。寺町や旧市街の散策を組み合わせる場合は、持ち帰りの購入だけか喫茶まで利用するかで到着時刻を選べます。

桑名市の観光・食事と滞在を組み合わせる

和菓子の休憩を六華苑の見学や川沿いの宿泊と組み合わせられます。喫茶LO16時30分と六華苑Pの17時終了は近いので、遅い時間の喫茶を入れる日は車へ戻る時間を含めて回れます。

Seasonal sweets and freshly prepared desserts

The sixteen-seat tearoom, decorated with calligraphy and paintings, pairs sweets with matcha, sencha or black tea. The price of a steamed-sweet set varies with the chosen confection. Other examples include zenzai and shiratama. Shaved ice is a summer offering, separate from the regular autumn selection.

The confectioner’s history and main-shop tearoom

The shop’s history records the start of confectionery trading in 1874 after inviting a confectioner from Kyoto. In 1996 the shop and workshop moved to the current main premises, adding the tearoom. Combine desserts eaten on site with seasonal sweets to take away. The tearoom is here at the Minamiuomachi main shop, separate from the Apita Kuwana retail outlet.

Retail from 8:30, tea from 9:00 and closure rules

Retail opens 8:30–18:00, while the tearoom opens 9:00–17:00, last orders 16:30. Retail normally closes Mondays, with Monday opening exceptions at year-end and Golden Week. The tearoom additionally closes over year-end/New Year, Golden Week and some holidays. A day when sweets are sold does not always include tea service, so use the tearoom schedule for a seated break.

When combining the visit with Teramachi or the old town, choose an arrival time according to whether the stop is for takeaway shopping or tea as well.

Pair a sweet break with Rokkaen and a riverside stay. Tearoom last orders at 16:30 are close to Rokkaen parking’s 17:00 finish, so allow the return walk when arranging late-afternoon tea.
