開成山公園西側駐車場は、五十鈴湖やバラ園、芝生広場を歩く来園者が使える駐車場です。公園西側の散策や遊びに合わせて最初の二時間を無料で利用でき、長く過ごす場合は時間料金になります。普通車だけでなくバスと二輪の区画もあり、背の高い準中型車は普通車と異なる料金区分になる点を押さえて向かいます。

西側の湖と広場への駐車
場所は開成一丁目5、開成山公園の西側です。2024年四月に五十鈴湖周辺の公園がリニューアルし、広場、カフェや売店、トイレなどを備えています。公園全体には東側の体育施設もあるため、目的地に合わせて西側駐車場と周辺施設の駐車場を区別します。郡山駅から車約十分、郡山ICと郡山中央スマートICからは約15分です。
無料時間と車種ごとの料金
入庫から二時間まで無料です。その後は普通車と自動二輪が30分100円、準中型で高さ2.5m以上の車を含む中型・大型は30分300円です。一日当たり最大料金は普通車1,000円、中型・大型3,000円。車高の高い車は乗用車と同額とは限らないので、車検証や積載状態を含めて区分を合わせます。短い散歩と、食事を含めて長く滞在する日では無料時間を超えるかが変わります。
入場時刻、寸法とバス区画
市の案内では入場可能時間は5～22時です。利用できる車両の大きさは高さ3.8m、長さ12m、幅2.5mまで。普通車137台、中型・大型四台、自動二輪六台の構成で、バスは四台まで停められ、事前予約もできます。予約したバス区画と一般の乗用車区画は役割が異なるため、団体で来る場合は車種に合った区画を利用します。
歩行者のいる園内と利用ルール
公園は入園原則無料で24時間利用できますが、店舗や個別施設の営業時間はそれぞれです。駐車場の入場時間と混同せず、車へ戻る予定を組みます。園内は全面禁煙。犬はリードでつなぎ、ふんは持ち帰ります。車いすやベビーカーはC棟パークセンターで貸出しがあり、C棟多目的スペースには授乳・おむつ替えに使える設備があります。湖の噴水などは水遊び用ではありません。
郡山市で合わせて訪れる施設
駅前と文化施設のある市街地、西田の工房、温泉地や郊外の公園を、食事・入浴・駐車の利用時間に合わせて組み合わせられます。
The west car park serves walks around Isuzu Lake, the rose garden and open lawns at Kaiseizan Park. Two free hours cover shorter visits, with time charges for a longer stay. Separate spaces accommodate buses and motorcycles as well as cars. Taller semi-medium vehicles fall into the higher charging category, so establish the correct vehicle class before arrival.

Parking for the lake and western lawns
This car park is on the western side of Kaiseizan Park at 1-5 Kaisei. The Isuzu Lake area renewed in April 2024, adding improved lawns, cafés, shops and toilets. Sports facilities lie farther east, so choose the west car park or another facility’s parking according to the destination. Driving takes about ten minutes from Koriyama Station and fifteen from Koriyama IC or Koriyama-Chuo Smart IC.
Free period and vehicle categories
The first two hours after entry are free. Thereafter ordinary cars and motorcycles cost ¥100 per thirty minutes; medium/large vehicles, including semi-medium vehicles at least 2.5 m high, cost ¥300. Daily maxima are ¥1,000 for ordinary cars and ¥3,000 for medium/large vehicles. A taller vehicle may not receive the passenger-car rate. Check the classification when planning a short walk versus a longer stay including food.
Entry times, dimensions and bus spaces
The city lists entry between 05:00 and 22:00. Vehicles must fit within 3.8 m in height, 12 m in length and 2.5 m in width. Capacity is 137 ordinary cars, four medium/large vehicles and six motorcycles. Up to four buses can park, with advance reservation available. Group arrivals should use the bay appropriate to the vehicle rather than assuming a passenger-car space can take a coach.
Park facilities and shared-space rules
The park generally has free admission and is open twenty-four hours, but shops and individual facilities keep their own hours. Distinguish that access from the car park’s entry period when planning a return to the vehicle. The grounds are nonsmoking; dogs require leads and waste collection. Building C’s park centre lends wheelchairs and pushchairs, with nursing and changing facilities in its multipurpose area. The lake fountains are not for water play.
