Choose the Toyokawa-cho passenger-car lot

The passenger-car lot is at Toyokawa-cho 12 with seventy-seven timed spaces, serving Kanemori’s shops, restaurants and waterfront. A separate Times Kanemori bus-only area is nearby, with a different vehicle category and entrance despite the similar name. Use the passenger-car destination in navigation and check the entrance signs on arrival. When combining food, shopping and a harbour walk, consider the total time away from the vehicle rather than each activity in isolation.

Separate daytime charging from the night cap

Standard charging is ¥600 for the first sixty minutes, then ¥300 per thirty minutes. The 18:00–09:00 band has a ¥500 cap with repeated application across qualifying nights. This is a defined night-band cap rather than a flat twenty-four-hour charge from entry. Evening dining and several daytime shopping hours therefore produce different arrangements. Set both the intended arrival and departure times when assessing the cost instead of treating the night cap as an all-day figure.

Use the facility-spending validation offer

Qualifying spending of at least ¥1,000 at Kanemori facilities earns up to two hours free. Hakodate Beerhall also lists this parking partnership. Present the parking ticket with the relevant payment and complete validation separately from the eventual parking charge. If walking elsewhere beyond the free period, include the additional stay in the plan. Keep the ticket available while eating or shopping so the procedure can be completed before returning to the car.

Check height and available payment methods

Limits are five metres long, 1.9 metres wide, 2.1 metres high and 2.5 tonnes. Include roof boxes or other equipment when checking vehicle height. Access is twenty-four hours, with cash, credit cards, electronic money, QR-code and smartphone payment supported. Shop and restaurant hours are separate from parking access, including for late returns. Plan the walk back and payment method, keeping the necessary ticket with you throughout the visit.
