函館駅前広場駐車場は、列車の送迎や駅周辺への短い立ち寄りに使える駐車場です。通常の30分無料と、対象施設を利用する場合の2時間無料は別の条件です。駅での用事か、摩周丸などの見学かを決めてから、料金と駐車認証の手順を選べます。

中央口前で送迎と短い用事に使う

若松町12番、JR函館駅中央口すぐにある一般利用可能な市営駐車場です。駅で家族を迎える、荷物を受け渡す、周辺の店へ短く立ち寄るなど、最初の30分を使う予定に向きます。収容は40台で、うち2台が障がい者等用区画です。駅の改札から車までの移動や、荷物を積み込む時間も駐車時間に含め、送迎の待ち合わせ時刻と合わせて入庫すると利用を整理しやすくなります。

30分を超えると1時間まで300円

最初の30分は無料、30分を超えて1時間までは300円です。1時間を超えた後は30分までごとに150円が加算されます。30分無料の後にさらに1時間分が付く仕組みではなく、入庫からの経過時間で区分が変わります。駅や朝市周辺に長く滞在する場合は、食事や買い物、徒歩の往復を合わせた時間で考えられます。24時間営業でも、1日定額の駐車と同じ条件ではない点が選ぶ際の目安です。

対象3施設の利用は駐車券を認証する

はこだてみらい館、はこだてキッズプラザ、青函連絡船記念館摩周丸の利用者は、施設内の認証機で駐車券を認証すると最初の2時間が無料となり、超過後は30分までごとに100円です。摩周丸では入館受付で駐車券を提示します。通常の駅利用だけではこの条件にならないため、駐車券は対象施設へ携行します。帰りに車へ戻る前に認証を済ませると、割引手続きを忘れずに出庫へ進めます。

車幅1.9メートルまで、バイクは不可

入出庫は24時間可能で無休です。利用できる車は長さ5メートル・幅1.9メートルまでで、二輪自動車は駐車できません。大きな車や装備を付けた車は車両寸法を見て別の駐車場と比較できます。同じ駅周辺でも、駅西口の若松町駐車場とは入口と料金区分が異なります。中央口を利用するか西口を利用するか、目的の施設までどちらから歩くかを先に決めると、駅前での車の移動を減らせます。

函館市で合わせて訪れる施設

市内の移動や食事、宿泊の予定に合わせて、次の施設も組み合わせられます。

Use the central-exit location for short stops

This public municipal lot sits at Wakamatsu-cho 12 directly beside the station’s central exit. Its first thirty minutes suit collecting travellers, transferring luggage or a brief nearby errand. Capacity is forty cars, including two priority spaces for disabled and other eligible users. Walking from the ticket gates and loading bags still uses parking time. Match entry to the expected meeting time when organising a pickup, especially if aiming to stay within the free period.

Understand the first-hour charge

The first thirty minutes are free. Once that is exceeded, the charge is ¥300 up to one hour after entry, followed by ¥150 for each further thirty-minute period. The free half-hour does not add another complete hour before the first-hour threshold. For a longer station-area or market visit, include meals, browsing and the return walk in the duration. Around-the-clock access is an operating arrangement and should not be treated as an all-day flat-rate parking offer.

Validate for the three participating attractions

Visitors to Hakodate Miraikan, Kids Plaza Hakodate or the Mashumaru ferry museum receive the first two hours free with ticket validation, followed by ¥100 per thirty minutes. At Mashumaru, present the ticket at admission reception. Ordinary station use alone does not qualify. Carry the ticket to the attraction and complete validation before returning to the vehicle, keeping the discount procedure separate from payment at the parking exit.

Check vehicle width before choosing the lot

Access is available twenty-four hours, without a regular closing day. Vehicles must be no longer than five metres and no wider than 1.9 metres; motorcycles cannot park here. Compare dimensions for large vehicles or added equipment before selecting the lot. The Wakamatsu-cho parking by the west exit is a separate facility with different charging arrangements. Choosing the station exit and onward walking route first can reduce unnecessary driving around the station frontage.
