所在地は五稜郭町27-7で、中央図書館と中央警察署の近くです。五稜郭公園へ歩く日の駐車場所に選べる広場式で、乗用車97台を収容します。公園だけを短く見るか、外周も歩くかで徒歩時間が変わるため、車を離れる前に歩く範囲を決められます。国道5号方面からの移動にも組み合わせやすい位置で、五稜郭タワー周辺とは異なる入口を目的地に設定する点も役立ちます。

1時間200円、30分単位で加算

通常の料金は最初の1時間まで200円、1時間を超えると30分までごとに100円です。公園散策だけの一般利用では、この時間制料金で考えます。24時間営業なので帰りの時間を選べますが、長く滞在するときも時間に応じて料金が加算されます。公園内で立ち止まる時間や飲食、駐車場まで戻る歩行を含めて予定を作ると、見学時間だけで駐車料金を見積もるより、実際の利用時間を考えやすくなります。

文化3施設の利用は認証で2時間無料

函館市芸術ホールの催し物への入場、北海道立函館美術館、函館市北洋資料館の利用では、対象施設の窓口で駐車券に認証を受けると入庫から2時間まで無料です。2時間を超えた後は30分までごとに100円となります。五稜郭公園の散策や図書館の利用そのものが、この3施設の特典になるわけではありません。展覧会と公園を組み合わせる場合は、チケットと駐車券を持って施設窓口で手続きを済ませます。

24時間利用と芸術ホール駐車場の区別

営業は24時間、通常の休業日はなく、事前の利用申し込みは不要です。広場式の乗用車用区画を利用し、大型バスを同じ区画に停める前提では計画しません。芸術ホール駐車場は五稜郭町37-8にある別施設で、同じ文化施設特典が使えても台数や車両の条件は別です。徒歩での移動先と帰りの方向に合わせて選び、桜や大型連休の混雑期には駐車から見学開始までの時間も多めに取れます。

At 27-7 Goryokaku-cho near the Central Library and police station, this surface lot accommodates ninety-seven cars. Decide whether the visit will be a short park stop or a longer walk around the outer grounds, as walking time affects the parking duration. The location also works with journeys approaching from National Route 5. Select this particular lot as the driving destination rather than assuming every Goryokaku parking entrance is beside the tower.

Calculate general parking time

General parking costs ¥200 for the first hour and ¥100 for each further thirty-minute period. A park walk alone uses this time-based rate. Twenty-four-hour access gives flexibility over return time, while the charge still depends on the duration. Include pauses in the grounds, any food stop and the walk back to the vehicle when planning a stay, rather than estimating only the time spent at the main point of interest.

Validate visits to the cultural facilities

Admission to an Arts Hall event, Hakodate Museum of Art or the Northern Pacific Fisheries Museum qualifies for two hours free after ticket validation at the relevant facility. Time beyond two hours costs ¥100 per thirty minutes. A park walk or library visit by itself is not the same qualifying use. If combining an exhibition with the park, carry the parking ticket and complete the procedure at the facility counter before returning to the car.

Distinguish this lot from Arts Hall parking

The lot operates twenty-four hours without a regular closure, and no advance application is required. It provides car spaces rather than a basis for planning bus parking. Arts Hall parking at 37-8 Goryokaku-cho is a separate facility, even though the cultural-facility validation arrangements are shared. Choose by the onward walking route and direction of departure. During cherry-blossom and major holiday periods, allow additional time between reaching the area and beginning sightseeing.
