駅北側で車から徒歩へ切り替える
内膳町5丁目の八木駅前北駐車場は、大和八木駅エリアに市が設ける駐車場の一つです。駅北側の目的地へ歩く時や、車で到着してから鉄道へ乗り継ぐ時に使えます。同じ大和八木の駅前でも、北駐車場と南駐車場、周辺の民間駐車場は別の施設です。ナビには北駐車場の名称と内膳町5-1-19を合わせて設定すると、帰りに車を出す場所も整理できます。駅を挟んで南へ回る行程では、観光や食事の最後から北側の駐車場へ戻る時間も含めて考えられます。

0時30分までに戻る行程
出入庫は5時～翌0時30分に限られ、その外の時間は車を出せません。夜の予定が長くなる日は、駅や食事先から駐車場へ戻る移動も含めて時刻を合わせます。市の駐車場案内は、車高・車幅・車長によって駐車できない場合があるとしており、入口の車両条件に合う車で利用します。満車の場合は入庫できません。南側の市営Pは24時間営業で、上限も入庫後24時間の別方式です。北側に近い到着先を優先するか、深夜の出庫が必要かを決めることで、駅周辺の駐車場所を選び分けられます。

Changing from car to walking north of the station
Yagi Station North is one of the municipal facilities in the Yamato-Yagi area, located in Naizen-cho 5-chome. It can support walking to north-side destinations or continuing by rail after arriving by car. The north lot, south lot and nearby commercial facilities are separate locations with different conditions. Crossing the operating-day boundary can therefore add a second charge even within twenty-four elapsed hours. For an overnight stay or a return by morning train, consider both entry and departure times in relation to that reset.
Planning a return before 0:30
Entry and exit are limited to 5:00–0:30; the car cannot be retrieved outside that window. Evening plans should include the return walk from the station or restaurant. Municipal guidance also notes that vehicle height, width and length may prevent admission, so the vehicle must meet the entrance conditions; full lots cannot admit more cars. The south municipal lot operates twenty-four hours with a different maximum measured from entry. Whether the destination is north of the station or a late-night departure is necessary will help determine the more suitable location.
