In Kitayagi-cho, a lobby overlooks a garden containing an old tea room. Western and Japanese rooms, with either shared or private bathing and toilet facilities, offer choices beyond price alone. The strict 23:00 curfew makes it important to arrange dinner and evening activities before returning for the night.

A tea-room garden and room choices
The lobby looks onto a garden with a tea room described as around two hundred years old. Singles, twins, triples, Japanese rooms and mixed Japanese-Western rooms accommodate different party sizes. Shared-bathroom rooms differ from en-suite rooms in both price and use. Direct-booking examples start at ¥4,900 for a shared-bathroom single, or ¥3,900 per person for two sharing a twin. An en-suite single starts at ¥6,500. Saturday, pre-holiday and busy-period rates differ, so compare equivalent occupancy and facilities.
Direct-booking breakfast and hot-water periods
Direct website bookings receive complimentary breakfast, served 7:00–8:40 with toast, coffee, a boiled egg and fruit; dinner is not included. Four family-bath-sized shared bathing rooms serve guests without en-suite facilities. Bathing runs 16:00–1:00 and 6:00–10:00, and hot water in en-suite rooms follows those periods too. Showers therefore are not supplied with hot water at every overnight hour. Dinner options are around Yamato-Yagi Station or the department-store dining area, about five minutes away, before returning for bathing and next-morning breakfast.
No entry or exit after 23:00
Check-in starts at 15:00 and ends at 23:00; check-out is 10:00. After the 23:00 curfew, neither leaving nor returning is permitted, and reservations are accepted on that basis. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, microwaves on the second and third floors, and paid laundry. For consecutive stays, cleaning follows three days’ room use, on the fourth day. Bring a razor if needed, as none is provided. Bed-sharing children through primary-school age cost ¥1,500 per person per night. Smoking or non-smoking preferences can be requested but depend on room availability.
A one-way approach and free parking
Yamato-Yagi and JR Unebi stations are about five minutes away on foot. The twelve-space front lot is free, limited to one vehicle per room. Larger vehicles require booking; regular two-tonne trucks and small minibuses are accepted, but wide-long two-tonne trucks are not. A minibus is also excluded when only its driver stays. The road outside is one-way southbound. The recommended approach turns east at the Naizen-cho junction on Route 24; a street one junction farther south, sometimes suggested by navigation systems, is too narrow for the recommended approach.
