木舟町から土蔵の通りを歩く
木舟町29-1にあり、山町筋の伝統的な商家を見て歩く到着場所です。菅野家住宅がすぐ、守山町の赤レンガの建物までは徒歩約3分。大野屋などの菓子店や山町ヴァレーへも散策をつなげられます。住宅として使われる建物も並び、通りの外観と公開している施設を組み合わせて巡れます。
無料時間と車種による配置
9～18時の無料駐車場でトイレがあります。市の案内は普通車だけで配置する場合15台、大型だけなら3台です。車種の混在によって使う区画が変わるため、15台と3台を同時収容の合計にはしません。普通車は予約を受け付けず、その日の空いている区画を利用する方式です。
観光バスは大きさを問わず予約
山町筋は、市の観光駐車場のうち観光バスの予約を受け付ける場所で、サイズを問わず事前予約が必要です。受付は文化財保護活用課0766-20-1453。バスで町並みを訪ねる場合は、区画の手配と見学人数の移動時間を合わせて予定を組めます。普通車の先着利用とは受付方法が異なります。
建物の見学時間と18時までの帰車
菅野家住宅や町並みの資料館、御車山会館は、駐車場と別の見学時間・休館日・入館料があります。屋外の散策に建物内部や食事を加える場合は、入館の終了時刻と18時の駐車終了を両方含めて回れます。夜まで食事する行程では、24時間営業の市営御旅屋Pなどを選ぶ方法もあります。
高岡市内で組み合わせる訪問先
能作はオフィスパーク、SEKAI HOTELは駅近く、クラフタンと山町筋Pは中心部の商家の町にあります。工場の予約見学や製作体験を終えて市街地へ移る場合は、車やバスの移動時間を含めます。昼の定食、18時で終わる観光P、夜の予約制の食事やホテル受付を合わせ、ものづくりと町並みを巡れます。

Walking the storehouse streets from Kifune-machi
At 29-1 Kifune-machi, the lot is a base for Yamachosuji’s merchant houses. Sugano House is beside it; the red-brick building in Moriyama-machi is about three minutes away. Extend the walk to Ohnoya and Yamacho Valley. Some buildings remain residences, while designated visitor facilities provide interior stops.
Free opening hours and vehicle layouts
The lot is free 9:00–18:00 and has toilets. The city gives capacity as fifteen cars when arranged for cars only, or three large coaches when arranged for coaches only. These are alternative layouts rather than simultaneous capacities. Cars are not reserved and use spaces available that day.
Reserve all tour buses regardless of size
Yamachosuji is the city’s reservation-taking tourism lot for coaches, requiring advance arrangements regardless of bus size. Contact Cultural Property Preservation and Utilisation at 0766-20-1453. Group visits can coordinate the parking arrangement with the time needed to move through the streets. This differs from cars’ unreserved use.
Building visits and return before 18:00
Sugano House, the townscape museum and Mikurumayama Museum each have separate hours, closing days and charges. When adding interiors or meals to an outdoor walk, allow both museum deadlines and the lot’s 18:00 closure. For an evening meal, a twenty-four-hour alternative such as Municipal Otaya parking can suit the later return.
Other stops to combine within Takaoka
Nousaku is in Office Park, SEKAI HOTEL near the station, and Craftan/Yamachosuji parking in the merchant-town centre. Include car or bus travel when moving from booked tours or workshops to the city.
