ぐるっと松江堀川めぐりは、松江城周辺に残る堀川を約50分かけて巡る遊覧船です。石垣や塩見縄手の街並み、緑の水辺を水面に近い目線から眺められます。低い橋を通るときは船の屋根が下がるのも特徴。徒歩の城下町散策と組み合わせると、同じ松江を異なる角度から楽しめます。

Matsue Horikawa Sightseeing Boat follows the canals around Matsue Castle on a circuit lasting about 50 minutes. From close to water level, passengers see stone walls, the Shiomi Nawate streetscape and leafy banks. The roof lowers beneath several low bridges. Combined with a walk through the castle town, the boat offers another perspective on the same city.

お堀から見る城下町と低い橋

通常コースは約3.7kmで、石垣が続く歴史のある区域、木々や生き物を見られる区域、市街地の区域をつなぎます。船頭の案内を聞きながら、徒歩では気付きにくい水路と街の関係を眺められます。通常は出発した乗船場へ周遊して戻るコースです。

コース上の17の橋のうち4か所では屋根を下げて通過します。船内では靴を脱ぎ、姿勢の指示に従って過ごします。食べ物の持ち込みは原則できず、ふたの付いた飲み物程度は可能という案内です。乗降や姿勢に不安がある場合は、チケット購入前に条件を相談してください。

2026年改定後の料金と幼児の扱い

個人の一日乗船券は、大人2000円、中学・高校生1600円、小学生1000円、未就学の幼児500円です。ただし大人1人につき幼児1人は無料。幼児は全員無条件に無料という扱いではないので、同伴する大人と子どもの人数を伝えて購入してください。

券は利用当日中に何度でも乗り降りできる一日乗船券ですが、混雑時の待ち時間や希望便の空席まで保証するものではありません。20人以上の団体や、障害者手帳を提示する方と介護者には別料金があります。2026年4月の料金改定前の案内ではなく、現在の料金表を基準に確認しましょう。

秋冬の16時最終便と受付締切

3〜9月は9時始発・17時最終、10〜2月は9時始発・16時最終です。通常の乗船受付は営業終了10分前、カラコロ広場では20分前まで。秋冬の目安はそれぞれ15時50分と15時40分ですが、変更や混雑もあるため、最終時刻ぎりぎりの到着を前提にしないでください。

券を買った後も出航5分前には乗船場の待合室にいる必要があります。冬のこたつなど季節の楽しみもあります。こたつの開始時期や夜間特別便は、当日の運航案内や開催中の個別企画を確認してください。

三つの乗船場と予約の違い

ふれあい広場は20〜30分間隔、大手前広場は15〜20分間隔が通常の目安です。カラコロ広場に独自の定期出発便はなく、ほかの乗船場から来た船に空きがあれば乗れます。3か所すべてから同じ間隔で必ず出発できると考えず、待ち時間を見込んでください。

少人数の通常利用は予約不要です。10人以上や貸切の予約受付は、乗船日の180日前から7日前17時まで。団体の予約乗船はふれあい広場のみです。約30分の「ぶらっとコース」は30人以上の予約向けで、通常の個人向け50分コースとは条件が異なります。

バス・駐車と当日の運航確認

JR松江駅からレイクラインで、大手前堀川遊覧船乗場へ約20分、堀川遊覧船乗場へ約30分という案内があります。乗りたい乗船場と停留所を確かめて移動しましょう。ふれあい広場・大手前広場付近は有料市営駐車場、カラコロ広場周辺は民間駐車場が利用候補になります。

駐車料金や減免は利用する駐車場ごとに確認し、対象となる場合は乗船券売場へ駐車券を持参します。土日祝の無料開放駐車場も、開放日や利用時間が限定されます。遊覧船は通常通年営業ですが、荒天時は運休・コース変更の場合があるため、当日の公式運航情報を確認してください。

Canal views and low bridges

The normal 3.7 km circuit links historic stone walls, greener stretches with wildlife and parts of the modern city. The boatman’s commentary adds context to the relationship between canals and streets. Boats normally complete the circuit and return to the boarding point where you started.

Four of the 17 bridges require the boat’s roof to be lowered. Passengers remove their shoes and follow instructions about posture. Food is generally not allowed on board, although a drink in a closable container is permitted. Ask before buying a ticket if you have concerns about boarding or the required seating position.

Fares after the 2026 revision

Individual day passes cost ¥2,000 for adults, ¥1,600 for junior- and senior-high-school students, ¥1,000 for elementary-school students and ¥500 for preschool children. One preschool child is free per adult; this does not make every preschool passenger free. Give the counter the actual numbers of adults and children.

The pass permits repeated boarding and alighting on the day it is used, but does not guarantee an immediate seat on a preferred departure. Separate fares apply to groups of at least 20 and to eligible disability-certificate holders and carers. Use the current table following the April 2026 fare revision rather than older guidance.

The 16:00 autumn–winter last departure

Departures normally run from 9:00 to 17:00 in March–September and 9:00 to 16:00 in October–February. Reception closes 10 minutes before the final departure, or 20 minutes at Karakoro Hiroba. In autumn and winter these normally correspond to 15:50 and 15:40, but allow for changes and queues rather than arriving at the deadline.

After buying a ticket, be in the boarding-point waiting room 5 minutes before departure. Seasonal features can include heated kotatsu seating. Check the current operating notices and individual events for the start of kotatsu service or special evening departures.

Three boarding points and booking arrangements

Normal intervals are around 20–30 minutes at Fureai Hiroba and 15–20 minutes at Otemae Hiroba. Karakoro Hiroba has no independently starting regular service: passengers board a passing boat when space is available. Allow time to wait rather than assuming identical guaranteed departures at all three points.

Ordinary small parties do not need a reservation. Group bookings for 10 or more and charters are accepted from 180 days before travel until 17:00 seven days beforehand. Reserved groups board at Fureai Hiroba only. The roughly 30-minute Buratto course requires a booking for at least 30 people and differs from the ordinary 50-minute circuit.

Buses, parking and same-day service updates

The Lakeline bus from JR Matsue Station is listed at about 20 minutes to the Otemae boarding-point stop and 30 minutes to the Fureai-area boat stop. Match the stop to your intended departure point. Paid municipal lots serve the Fureai and Otemae areas, while private lots are available around Karakoro Hiroba.

Check the price and concession rules for the particular car park and bring the parking ticket to the boat counter when applicable. Free public-facility parking on weekends or holidays also has date and time limits. Boats normally operate year-round, but severe weather may cause suspension or route changes.
