Shiraishiya is a hot-spring ryokan beside the Tamayu River in Tamatsukuri Onsen. A stay combines contrasting cypress and black-granite bath areas, meals featuring Sanin ingredients, and Japanese-style or special top-floor rooms. 檜と黒御影石、朝夕で浴場を楽しむ

織姫は湯船の底まで檜を使った大浴場、彦星は黒御影石の大浴場で、それぞれ露天風呂もあります。男女入れ替え制で、利用は15:00～翌1:00と5:00～9:00、サウナは15:00～22:00です。フェイスタオルを備え、シャンプーを選べるコーナーもあります。ここで示す時間は宿泊中の館内利用で、日帰り入浴の受付を意味しません。夜は清掃時間を挟むため、深夜から朝までいつでも入れるわけではない点に注意しましょう。

和室と大人2名限定のプレミアム客室

竹葉亭の8畳和室は2～4名、松葉亭・紅葉亭の12.5畳和室は2～6名が目安のタイプです。最上階には展望半露天風呂を備える雲海・斐伊川・宍道湖の3室があり、こちらは大人2名限定で子どもは宿泊できません。専用風呂や備品は該当する部屋の条件で、通常の和室にも同じ設備があるとは限りません。禁煙の客室を選び、人数、布団やベッド、子どもの受け入れ、食事場所を予約画面で確認してください。

朝食ビュッフェと季節の会席を選ぶ

朝食は通常7:00～9:00、ダイニングMaGaTaMaの自由席で、フレンチトーストやイカ墨の黒カレー、しじみを使った料理などを取り入れたビュッフェです。夕食会場は旅館にお任せとなるため、希望だけで個室や部屋食を保証されるものではありません。2026年の秋会席は11月10日まで、冬会席は11月11日からの設定です。かに料理はコースごとに販売期間や内容が異なり、すべての冬プランに松葉がにが含まれるとは限りません。

迎え14～19時、朝は予約した便で

JR玉造温泉駅または高速玉造バス停への迎えは14:00～19:00で、到着時刻を宿へ伝えて手配します。当日の連絡では15～30分ほど待つ場合があり、時間外の迎えは受け付けていません。翌朝のJR玉造温泉駅行きは8:10・8:50・9:30・10:00・10:30の5便で、出発日前日までの予約が必要です。列車の出発時刻と荷物の量を合わせて便を選び、時間外は路線バスやタクシーを検討してください。

無料駐車はスタッフに車を預ける方式

駐車場は無料ですが、スタッフが車を駐車場へ移動し、鍵をフロントで預かる方式です。到着したら誘導を受けてください。EV・PHEVの充電は宿泊者に限り事前予約制で、設備利用料は1日2,200円（税込）、端子はJ1772です。通常の無料駐車と充電料金を混同しないようにしましょう。特殊な車両や、夜間に車を使う予定がある場合は、引き渡しや出庫の方法を先に確認しておくと移動の予定を立てやすくなります。

夜の催し、到着連絡と玄関施錠

館内では通常20:45からの映像ショーや、ガレ・ラリックなどのガラス作品展示を案内しています。女性宿泊者向けの花浴衣貸し出しもありますが、当日の実施状況や利用条件を確認してください。通常15:00チェックイン・10:00チェックアウトで、到着が18:00を過ぎる場合は連絡が必要です。2025年10月14日以降の正面玄関施錠は0:00～5:00と告知されています。温泉街へ出る場合は帰館時刻と入館方法を確認しましょう。

宿泊税と入湯税を別に確認

白石家の注意事項では入湯税150円を別途案内しています。松江市の宿泊税は、1人1泊の素泊まり・税抜き宿泊料金が5,000円以上の場合200円、5,000円未満は課税されません。入湯税は宿泊して温泉に入る人に1人1日150円（1泊を1日として計算）で、12歳に達する日以後の最初の3月31日までの子ども（小学生以下）や日帰り入浴などは免除されます。二つの税は別制度です。予約料金への含まれ方と現地精算の内訳を確かめてください。

Try cypress and granite bathing areas

Orihime is a communal bath lined with cypress down to the pool floor; Hikoboshi uses black granite. Each also has an open-air bath. The areas switch between men and women, with bathing 15:00–01:00 and 05:00–09:00; sauna hours are 15:00–22:00. Face towels and a choice of shampoos are provided. These are in-house guest bathing hours, not confirmation of day admission. The overnight interval means the baths are not continuously available all night.

Japanese-style rooms and adult-only premium rooms

The eight-tatami Chikuyotei type accommodates two to four guests, while the 12.5-tatami Shoyotei and Koyotei types accommodate two to six. Three top-floor rooms—Unkai, Hiikawa and Shinjiko—have a semi-open-air bath and are restricted to two adults, with no children permitted. Private baths and premium equipment belong to the room type booked and are not standard in every Japanese-style room. Check occupancy, bedding, children’s admission and dining arrangements in the selected nonsmoking category.

Choose buffet breakfast and a seasonal dinner plan

Breakfast is normally 07:00–09:00 at dining room MaGaTaMa with unassigned seating. The buffet includes items such as French toast, squid-ink curry and shijimi clam dishes. Dinner venues are assigned by the inn, so a preference alone does not guarantee a private dining room or in-room meals. The listed 2026 autumn courses run through November 10, with winter courses beginning November 11. Crab menus have their own dates and contents; do not assume all winter plans include Matsuba crab.

Arrange pickup and a reserved morning departure

Pickup from JR Tamatsukuri Onsen Station or the Tamatsukuri highway bus stop operates 14:00–19:00; tell the inn your arrival time to arrange it. Same-day requests may involve a 15–30-minute wait, and pickup outside these hours is unavailable. Morning departures to the JR station are 08:10, 08:50, 09:30, 10:00 and 10:30, with reservations required by the previous day. Choose a trip that fits your train and luggage needs; use a scheduled bus or taxi outside the service window.

Let staff handle the free parking

Parking is free, but staff move the vehicle to the car park and reception keeps the key. Follow their directions when you arrive. EV/PHEV charging is available to overnight guests by advance reservation at ¥2,200 per day including tax, using a J1772 connector. The charging fee is separate from ordinary free parking. Ask beforehand about unusual vehicles or plans to use the car at night so you understand collection and exit arrangements.

Evening entertainment, arrivals and the entrance lock

The inn lists a usual 20:45 projection show and displays of glass works by artists including Gallé and Lalique. Floral yukata are available for female overnight guests; check the day’s arrangements and conditions. Usual check-in is 15:00 and checkout is 10:00; contact the inn if arriving after 18:00. The entrance notice effective October 14, 2025 specifies that the main entrance is locked 00:00–05:00. Confirm return times and entry arrangements before going out into the spa district.

Distinguish accommodation and bathing taxes

Shiraishiya’s booking notes list a separate ¥150 bathing tax. Matsue City charges accommodation tax of ¥200 per person per night when the room-only rate before tax is at least ¥5,000; lower rates are untaxed. A separate hot-spring bathing tax is ¥150 per overnight bather per day, with one night counted as one day. Children up to and including the first March 31 on or after the date they turn twelve, corresponding to elementary-school age and younger, and day bathers are exempt from bathing tax. Check how each tax is included or collected in your booking.
