Notsu Ryokan is a hot-spring inn beside the Ohashi River in Isemiyacho, about seven minutes on foot from JR Matsue Station’s north exit. Japanese-style rooms and special rooms with beds can be paired with seasonal Sanin meals and Matsue Shinjiko Onsen water. Plan around the 16:00 check-in, meal starting times and possible stairs to your room as well as the short station walk.

和室とベッド付き客室、階段を確かめる

客室は全20室が禁煙で、電子たばこも客室では使用できません。和室は4.5畳・6畳・8畳・10畳・21畳などがあり、千（SEN）と白（TSUKUMO）にはベッドルームがあります。部屋によって眺望や広さが異なるため、大橋川の眺めを希望する場合は客室説明を確認してください。8畳・6畳・4.5畳・白などの客室へは階段移動があり、館全体がバリアフリーではありません。歩行に不安がある人は客室までの経路を予約前に相談しましょう。

夕日の湯・川面の湯は宿泊者向け

男女別の大浴場と露天風呂があり、松江しんじ湖温泉の源泉を使用しています。公式表示は加水・循環濾過式で、源泉かけ流しという案内ではありません。入浴は16:00～24:00と6:00～9:00で、24時間利用ではなく男女の入れ替えもありません。混雑時は人数制限を行う場合があります。日帰りの入浴のみは受け付けていないため、館内温泉を利用したい場合は宿泊条件を確認してください。

山陰の食事と開始時刻を合わせる

料理では、割子の器に山陰の食材を盛り込む一品や、複数の魚を楽しむお造りなどを紹介しています。朝食はしじみの味噌汁、小鉢、温かい陶板の魚などの和朝食です。夕食は18:00～21:00・最終開始19:30、朝食は7:00～9:00・最終開始8:30。写真と同じ食材を全日保証するものではないため、季節と予約コースの献立を確認しましょう。食事のみの利用は事前予約制で、入浴のみの受付とは別です。

駅から歩き、普通車は1室1台を相談

JR松江駅北口から約500m、徒歩約7分で、駅への送迎は行っていません。公式FAQでは普通車を1室につき1台確保し、利用時間はチェックインからチェックアウトまでと案内しています。宿泊の普通車駐車は無料で、2台目以降は近隣有料駐車場への案内です。大きな車や複数台で訪れる場合は事前に相談してください。早着時やチェックアウト後の駐車をそのまま無料で続けられるとは考えず、荷物預かりと車の置き場所を分けて確認しましょう。

16時チェックインと夜間の出入り

通常のチェックインは16:00、チェックアウトは10:00で、予約プランにより異なります。夜間は0:00～6:00に玄関を施錠しますが、フロントスタッフが出入りに対応し、宿泊者名を確認します。遅い帰館を予定する場合は先に相談してください。荷物はチェックイン当日とチェックアウト当日に預けられますが、休館日を除きます。夕食付きの滞在では、到着が食事の最終開始時刻に間に合うよう、鉄道や車の予定を合わせましょう。

宿泊税と入湯税の内訳

松江市の宿泊税は、1人1泊の素泊まり・税抜き宿泊料金が5,000円以上の場合200円、5,000円未満は課税されません。入湯税は宿泊して温泉に入る人に1人1日150円（1泊を1日として計算）で、12歳に達する日以後の最初の3月31日までの子ども（小学生以下）や日帰り入浴などは免除されます。二つの税は別制度です。予約料金への含まれ方と現地精算の内訳を確かめてください。

Check room style and stairs

All 20 rooms are nonsmoking, including electronic cigarettes. Japanese-style choices include 4.5-, 6-, 8-, 10- and 21-tatami layouts; SEN and TSUKUMO include bedrooms with beds. Views and space differ, so check the chosen room if an Ohashi River outlook is important. Stairs are involved for rooms including the 8-, 6- and 4.5-tatami types and TSUKUMO, and the inn is not fully accessible. Discuss the route to the room before booking if stairs are difficult.

Guest bathing at Yuhi-no-Yu and Kawamo-no-Yu

Separate men’s and women’s communal baths and open-air baths use Matsue Shinjiko Onsen source water. The official description specifies added water and recirculating filtration, rather than continuously flowing untreated spring water. Bathing hours are 16:00–24:00 and 06:00–09:00; the baths are not open around the clock and do not switch between men and women. Admission may be limited when busy. Bath-only day visits are not accepted, so check accommodation arrangements if you want to use these baths.

Plan meals around their starting times

The dining presentation includes Sanin ingredients in stacked warigo dishes and assorted sashimi. Japanese breakfast features shijimi clam miso soup, small dishes and fish served warm on an individual ceramic plate. Dinner runs 18:00–21:00 with the latest start at 19:30; breakfast is 07:00–09:00 with the latest start at 08:30. Ingredients vary with season and the booked course. Meals without an overnight stay require advance booking and are separate from bath-only admission, which is unavailable.

Walk from the station and arrange car parking

The inn is about 500 m, or seven minutes on foot, from JR Matsue Station’s north exit and has no station shuttle. The official FAQ allocates one ordinary-car space per room from check-in to checkout. Overnight parking for ordinary cars is free, while additional vehicles are directed to nearby paid parking. Discuss larger vehicles or multiple cars beforehand. Do not assume parking can continue free before check-in or after checkout; arrange luggage storage and the car’s location separately.

Check in from 16:00 and arrange late access

Usual check-in is 16:00 and checkout is 10:00, subject to the booked plan. The entrance is locked from midnight to 06:00, but reception staff can assist entry and exit after checking the guest’s name. Discuss a late return in advance. Bags can be stored on arrival and departure days, except when the inn is closed. If dinner is included, arrange your train or driving schedule to arrive before the latest dinner starting time.

Check accommodation and bathing taxes

Matsue City charges accommodation tax of ¥200 per person per night when the room-only rate before tax is at least ¥5,000; lower rates are untaxed. A separate hot-spring bathing tax is ¥150 per overnight bather per day, with one night counted as one day. Children up to and including the first March 31 on or after the date they turn twelve, corresponding to elementary-school age and younger, and day bathers are exempt from bathing tax. Check how each tax is included or collected in your booking.
