宿泊時間と客室タイプ

公式案内はチェックイン15時から、夕食付きは18時まで、夕食なしは23時まで、アウト10時です。一方、楽天の施設基本欄にはアウト11時の表示があるため、宿泊予約に示された時刻を基準にします。到着が18時を過ぎる場合は連絡が必要です。

全室禁煙・無料Wi-Fi対応で、SANAは露天風呂付きの全5室です。80㎡のワイドルームは布団追加で3名まで、44㎡のロフトベッドルームは4名、50㎡のツインは2名。ほかにLAKA、モダンツイン、和室・和洋室などを用意し、内風呂や眺望の有無は部屋タイプで異なります。

NORMの朝食と夕食時間

朝食はレストランNORMで7～9時、L.O.8時30分。和洋約50種類のバイキングには鶏飯、さつま揚げ、黒豚味噌、あくまきなどを用意します。予約状況により和定食へ変更する場合があり、料理形式は選べません。

夕食の案内時間は18～21時、L.O.20時30分です。個室食事処は電話による事前予約制で、大人1人につき1,100円の利用料金。子供用の皿・スプーン・フォークや独立型ベビーチェアを備えています。

展望大浴場と予約制の貸切風呂

中央館4階の展望大浴場は5時30分～10時と15～23時です。天候がよい日は錦江湾や桜島を望め、男女それぞれにサウナを備えます。客室のタオルを持参し、展望大浴場のロッカーは100円返却式です。

貸切風呂は薩摩・隼人・島津・帯刀・五代の5種類で、1組60分2,200円の予約制です。宿泊利用は16時30分～22時45分、最終開始21時45分。日帰り貸切は12～16時・最終受付15時で、ベビーベッドは薩摩のみ、ベビーバスはフロント貸出です。

日帰り料金と露天風呂の工事告知

通常の日帰り入浴は12～18時、最終受付16時で、大人1,000円・5～12歳500円、5歳未満は無料、料金は税込です。タオルは含まず、フェイスタオルは1枚100円。露天風呂の通常案内は15時からですが、もみじの湯には次の工事告知があります。

南館1階もみじの湯は2026年1月5日から終了日未定の工事告知が掲載され、工事中は16～24時へ変更する案内です。中央館4階の展望大浴場は工事中も通常営業としています。工事による変更はもみじの湯が対象で、ホテル全館の休館ではありません。

乳幼児向けの設備と館内の移動

女湯の展望大浴場と両露天風呂の脱衣所にベビーベッドを備えます。幼児用浴衣80cm、小学生用100～130cmの浴衣とスリッパを用意。離乳食の温めはレストラン・フロントで対応し、哺乳瓶用の電子レンジ消毒セットもあります。

館内には階段があり、全面的なバリアフリー仕様ではありません。車椅子利用の宿泊にはフロントから移動しやすいモダンツインを案内し、貸出車椅子は2台。中央館1階のフロント・レストラン付近にはバリアフリー対応トイレがあります。

無料駐車場とバスでのアクセス

無料駐車場は80台で、ホテルの送迎サービスはありません。鹿児島空港から車で約30分、溝辺ICから約30分、横川ICから約35分が目安です。

空港9番のりばから霧島方面の路線バスを利用する場合、塩湯温泉バス停から徒歩約1分です。JR霧島神宮駅からは丸尾バス停経由で徒歩約5分の案内。ホテルの所在地は高千穂3885で、愛犬向けの離れD+KIRISHIMAは専用の客室・予約案内を利用する施設です。

Stay times and room types

The official site lists check-in from 15:00, arrival by 18:00 with dinner or 23:00 without dinner, and check-out at 10:00. Rakuten’s basic information instead displays check-out at 11:00, so the time stated in the stay reservation applies. Arrivals after 18:00 must be notified.

All rooms are nonsmoking with free Wi-Fi. SANA comprises five open-air-bath suites: 80 m² wide rooms accommodate up to three with an added futon, 44 m² loft-bed rooms four, and the 50 m² twin two. Other options include LAKA, modern twins and Japanese and Japanese-Western rooms; indoor baths and views depend on the room type.

Breakfast at NORM and dinner times

Breakfast at Restaurant NORM is 07:00–09:00, last order 08:30. The roughly 50-item Japanese and Western buffet includes keihan, satsuma-age, black-pork miso and akumaki. A Japanese set meal may be served depending on reservations; guests cannot choose the meal format.

Dinner is listed as 18:00–21:00, last order 20:30. Private dining rooms require advance telephone reservations and carry a charge of ¥1,100 per adult. Children’s plates, spoons and forks and freestanding high chairs are available.

Panoramic public baths and reserved private baths

The panoramic baths on the central building’s fourth floor open 05:30–10:00 and 15:00–23:00. Kinko Bay and Sakurajima can be seen in clear weather, and both men’s and women’s areas have saunas. Guests bring towels from their rooms; the panoramic-bath lockers use a refundable ¥100 coin.

The five private baths—Satsuma, Hayato, Shimazu, Tatewaki and Godai—require reservations and cost ¥2,200 per group for 60 minutes. Overnight-guest hours are 16:30–22:45, last start 21:45. Day-use private bathing is 12:00–16:00, last admission 15:00. Only Satsuma has a baby bed; baby baths are loaned at reception.

Day-use prices and open-air bath works

Normal day bathing is 12:00–18:00, last admission 16:00, at ¥1,000 for adults or ¥500 for ages five to twelve, including tax; under-fives are free. Towels are not included, and face towels cost ¥100 each. Normal open-air-bath information starts at 15:00, but Momiji-no-yu is subject to the following works notice.

A works notice for Momiji-no-yu on the south building’s first floor starts January 5, 2026 with no end date, listing hours of 16:00–24:00 during the works. The panoramic baths on the central building’s fourth floor are listed as operating normally during the works. This change concerns Momiji-no-yu and is not a hotel-wide closure.

Facilities for young children and getting around the hotel

Baby beds are provided in the women’s panoramic-bath changing area and both open-air-bath changing areas. Children’s yukata include an 80 cm size and sizes 100–130 cm for elementary-school children, with slippers available. Baby food can be warmed at the restaurant or reception, and a microwave sterilizing set for bottles is available.

The hotel includes stairs and is not fully accessible. Modern twins convenient to reception are offered for stays involving a wheelchair, and two loan wheelchairs are available. An accessible toilet is near reception and the restaurant on the central building’s first floor.

Free parking and bus access

There are 80 free parking spaces and no hotel shuttle service. Approximate driving times are 30 minutes from Kagoshima Airport, 30 minutes from Mizobe IC and 35 minutes from Yokogawa IC.

For scheduled Kirishima-bound buses from airport stand No. 9, Shioyu Onsen bus stop is about a one-minute walk away. The route from JR Kirishima-jingu Station uses Maruo bus stop and an approximately five-minute walk. The hotel is at 3885 Takachiho; the dog-oriented D+KIRISHIMA annex uses its own rooms and reservation information.
