La Vista Kirishima Hills is a Southern European-style hot-spring resort on a hill in Makizono, Kirishima City. Every room has an open-air hot-spring bath, alongside Japanese-style public baths, three free private baths and Le Chien rooms for stays with dogs.

温泉露天風呂付きの客室を選ぶ

全105室のうち一般客室が86室、愛犬対応のルシアンルームが19室で、すべて禁煙です。スタンダードツインは35～45㎡・2名まで、トリプルは39～45㎡・3名まで、フォースは50～54㎡・4名まで。最上階南向きのラビスタルームは眺望を重視した客室です。

チェックインは15時から、チェックアウトは11時まで。客室には温泉露天風呂、無料Wi-Fi、加湿機能付き空気清浄機、冷蔵庫、コーヒーミルやコーヒーセットがあります。ラビスタルーム宿泊者向けのナイトバー季楽は15～19時のサービスです。

朝食と洋食コース、幼児の食事料金

朝食は1階アリアセレーナで和洋バイキングを用意し、基本時間は7時30分～9時30分、最終入場9時です。夕食は地元食材を取り入れた洋食コースで、基本は17時30分または20時開始。食事時間は当日の案内により変わる場合があります。

3歳～未就学児の施設使用料は4,950円税込で、寝具なし・朝食付きです。夕食を追加する場合は別途4,950円税込。低アレルゲンメニューは宿泊2日前までの申込みが必要で、夜食の夜鳴きそばは基本22～23時に用意されます。

大浴場と予約不要の貸切風呂

大浴場は15～翌1時と翌朝5～10時。内湯、露天風呂にドライサウナ・ミストサウナやベンチ式岩盤浴を備えます。源泉は丸尾温泉で、加水し、一部に循環ろ過・加温を行っています。入湯税は中学生以上1人150円です。

檜・岩・樽の趣が異なる3つの貸切風呂は24時間、無料・予約不要で、空いている順に利用できます。入口を施錠すると利用中ランプが点灯します。貸切風呂は湯浴み用で、洗身・洗髪には大浴場または客室を利用します。

愛犬と泊まるルシアンルーム

愛犬同伴には専用の入口とロビーを備えたルシアンルームを利用します。一般客室エリアとは扉で分かれ、ルシアンフロアから専用遊歩道でドッグランへ向かえます。ルシアンツインにはユニバーサルルームも用意されています。

犬はレストランへ同伴できず、食事中は客室のケージで待機します。施設管理の楽天案内では1室2頭まで無料、3頭目以降は1頭2,200円です。利用には指定の宿泊滞在同意書などの条件があり、犬種によっては宿泊対象外となります。

無料駐車場と霧島神宮駅の送迎

無料駐車場は105台で予約不要。鹿児島空港や横川IC・溝辺鹿児島空港ICから車で約30分です。空港から路線バスを使う場合は丸尾の1番バス停で降り、ホテルまで徒歩約10分の案内です。

無料送迎は前日までの電話予約制。霧島神宮駅発は14時15分・15時15分・16時30分、ホテル発は8時30分・9時50分・10時50分です。道路状況で到着時刻は変わります。

夏季プールと滞在中の館内サービス

ガーデンプールの2026年営業期間は7月1日～8月31日でした。宿泊者限定の季節施設で、チェックイン前・アウト後の利用はできません。2026年の案内では15～17時・翌朝8時30分～10時、連泊者のみ翌日12～13時も利用でき、雷・濃霧・降灰などで中止する場合がありました。

館内には無料の夜食や軽食を用意するいこい処、湯上がりの休憩スペース、24時間営業の売店があります。カラオケルームは1室1時間3,000円税込。車椅子の貸出は予約制で、多目的トイレと介助犬の同伴に対応しています。

Choose a room with an open-air hot-spring bath

All 105 rooms are nonsmoking: 86 standard guest rooms and 19 dog-friendly Le Chien rooms. Standard twins are 35–45 m² for up to two, triples 39–45 m² for up to three, and quadruple rooms 50–54 m² for up to four. South-facing La Vista rooms on the top floor emphasize the view.

Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Rooms include an open-air hot-spring bath, free Wi-Fi, a humidifying air purifier, a refrigerator and a coffee mill and coffee set. Night Bar Kiraku serves guests staying in La Vista rooms from 15:00 to 19:00.

Breakfast, Western-style dinner and preschool meal fees

Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at Aria Serena on the first floor, normally 07:30–09:30 with last entry at 09:00. Dinner is a Western-style course featuring local ingredients, normally starting at 17:30 or 20:00. Meal times may change according to the day’s arrangements.

Children aged three to preschool age pay a facility fee of ¥4,950 including tax, without bedding but with breakfast. Adding dinner costs a further ¥4,950 including tax. Low-allergen meals must be requested at least two days before the stay. Yonaki soba noodles are normally served from 22:00 to 23:00.

Public baths and private baths without reservations

Public baths open 15:00–01:00 and 05:00–10:00, with indoor and outdoor baths, dry and mist saunas and bench-style stone bathing. The source is Maruo Onsen; water is diluted, and some facilities use circulating filtration and heating. A bathing tax of ¥150 applies per person of junior-high-school age and older.

The three private baths feature cypress, stone and barrel designs. They are free, open 24 hours and used on a first-come basis without reservations. Locking the entrance lights the occupied indicator. These baths are for soaking; washing and shampooing take place in the public baths or guest rooms.

Le Chien rooms for stays with dogs

Guests with dogs stay in Le Chien rooms, which have their own entrance and lobby. Doors separate this area from the general guest-room area, and a dedicated path links the Le Chien floor to the dog run. A universal room is available among the Le Chien twins.

Dogs cannot enter the restaurant and remain in the room’s cage during meals. The hotel-managed Rakuten information allows two dogs per room free, with ¥2,200 charged for each additional dog. Stays are subject to the designated agreement and other conditions; some breeds are excluded.

Free parking and Kirishima-jingu Station transfers

The 105-space car park is free and requires no reservation. Kagoshima Airport, Yokogawa IC and Mizobe-Kagoshima Airport IC are about 30 minutes away by car. The airport bus route uses Maruo bus stop No. 1, followed by a walk of about ten minutes to the hotel.

Free transfers require telephone reservations by the previous day. Departures from Kirishima-jingu Station are 14:15, 15:15 and 16:30; hotel departures are 08:30, 09:50 and 10:50. Arrival times vary with road conditions.

Summer pool and services during a stay

The garden pool’s published 2026 season was July 1–August 31. This seasonal facility is limited to overnight guests and cannot be used before check-in or after check-out. The 2026 schedule was 15:00–17:00 and 08:30–10:00, with an additional 12:00–13:00 session for guests staying consecutive nights; lightning, dense fog or volcanic ash could suspend use.

Facilities include a lounge serving complimentary noodles and light snacks, a post-bath relaxation area and shops open 24 hours. Karaoke rooms cost ¥3,000 including tax per room per hour. Wheelchair loans require reservations; accessible toilets and assistance-dog access are provided.
