湯けむりビューと山側の客室

客室には和室・洋室・和洋室があり、湯けむりビューと山側で眺めが異なります。24㎡のスタンダードツインは2名、32㎡のデラックストリプルは3名、48㎡のツイン＋7.5畳の和洋室は4名が定員です。

チェックインは15時、チェックアウトは10時。全室にシャワー・冷暖房・テレビ・冷蔵庫と無料の無線LANを備えます。夕食を利用する場合、18時を過ぎる到着は連絡が必要で、遅い到着では夕食を提供できない場合があります。

本館3階で味わう朝食ビュッフェ

朝食会場は本館3階の霧島湯けむりテラスです。7～9時30分、L.O.9時に約70種類の和洋料理を提供。鶏飯、枕崎のかつお節を使う茶節、さつま揚げなど、鹿児島の郷土料理も並びます。

ライブキッチンには地場野菜と黒豚の温泉蒸しや卵料理、パンのコーナーにはパンケーキやクロワッサンがあります。子供向けメニューも用意され、持参した離乳食の温めやミルク用のお湯に対応しています。

本館の温泉と日帰り入浴

本館の温泉は11～24時と5～9時。大浴場大浪、露天風呂霧乃湯に、蒸し湯やサウナ、貸切風呂山霧などを備えます。定期清掃のため曜日ごとに利用できない浴槽があり、貸切風呂と女性限定岩盤浴は別料金です。

本館の日帰り入浴は11～15時、最終受付14時で、大人1,200円・小学生600円・3歳以上の幼児300円、いずれも税込です。年末年始・ゴールデンウィーク・お盆・祝日などには休止する場合があります。

砂むし霧砂と10月27・28日の利用変更

砂むし温泉霧砂と露天風呂白紫乃湯は、本館から連絡通路でつながる新館にあります。砂むし1回は宿泊者が大人1,500円・小学生以下750円、外来は大人2,500円・小学生以下1,250円。白紫乃湯のみの日帰りは大人1,000円・小学生以下500円、宿泊者の白紫乃湯は無料です。

2026年10月27・28日は砂の補充作業により、霧砂の10～15時の日帰り営業を白紫乃湯も含めて休止します。連泊者もこの時間帯は利用できず、宿泊者利用は15～22時・最終入場21時です。本館の日帰り入浴とは別の案内です。

キッズルームと子供連れの館内設備

キッズデラックスの湯けむりビューは64㎡・定員6名。遊び心のある内装や子供向けのバスルーム・洗面所が特徴です。食事・寝具が不要な乳幼児の添い寝は無料の案内で、食事や寝具を付ける予約とは条件が異なります。

霧島キッズパークは宿泊または日帰り入浴の利用者向けで、保護者同伴が必要です。目安4～7歳のアクティブ、1～6歳のごっこ遊び、1歳未満のベビーの3エリアに分かれています。

無料駐車場と丸尾温泉バス停からのアクセス

住所は牧園町高千穂3930-12。無料駐車場は100台と身障者用4台の案内です。溝辺鹿児島空港ICから車で約30分、横川ICから約35分、都城ICから約50分を目安としています。

JR霧島神宮駅からはバスまたはタクシーで約25分。路線バスの丸尾温泉バス停から徒歩約5分です。車の駐車場所は希望に沿えない場合があるため、駐車場所の指定が保証される方式ではありません。

Steam-view and mountain-side rooms

Rooms include Japanese, Western and combined styles, with steam-view and mountain-side outlooks. The 24 m² standard twin sleeps two, the 32 m² deluxe triple sleeps three, and the 48 m² Japanese-Western room with twin beds and a 7.5-tatami area sleeps four.

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 10:00. All rooms have a shower, climate control, television, refrigerator and free wireless internet. Guests arriving after 18:00 must notify the hotel; dinner may not be available for late arrivals.

Breakfast buffet on the third floor of the main building

Breakfast is served at Kirishima Yukemuri Terrace on the main building’s third floor, 07:00–09:30 with last order at 09:00. The roughly 70-item Japanese and Western buffet includes Kagoshima specialties such as keihan chicken rice, chabushi with Makurazaki bonito flakes and satsuma-age fish cakes.

The live kitchen offers hot-spring-steamed local vegetables and black pork and egg dishes, while the bread section includes pancakes and croissants. Children’s menus are provided, with warming of brought baby food and hot water for formula available.

Main-building hot springs and day bathing

Main-building baths operate 11:00–24:00 and 05:00–09:00. Facilities include the Onami public bath, Kirinoyu open-air bath, steam baths, saunas and the Yamagiri private bath. Individual tubs close for scheduled cleaning by weekday. Private baths and the women-only stone bath cost extra.

Main-building day bathing is 11:00–15:00, with last admission at 14:00. Prices including tax are ¥1,200 for adults, ¥600 for elementary-school children and ¥300 for preschool children aged three and older. Service may be suspended during New Year, Golden Week, Obon, public holidays and other busy periods.

Kirisuna sand baths and changes on October 27–28

Kirisuna sand baths and the Byakushi-no-yu open-air bath are in a new building linked to the main building by a passage. A sand-bath session costs overnight guests ¥1,500 for adults or ¥750 for elementary-school age and younger; day visitors pay ¥2,500 or ¥1,250. Day bathing at Byakushi-no-yu alone costs ¥1,000 for adults or ¥500 for elementary-school age and younger; it is free for overnight guests.

On October 27–28, 2026, sand replenishment suspends Kirisuna day use from 10:00 to 15:00, including Byakushi-no-yu. Guests staying consecutive nights also cannot use this time window; overnight-guest use is 15:00–22:00, last entry 21:00. This notice is separate from main-building day bathing.

Kids’ rooms and facilities for families

The steam-view Kids Deluxe room is 64 m² and sleeps six, with playful interiors and child-oriented bathrooms and wash areas. Infants and preschool children sharing a bed without meals or bedding are listed as free; reservations adding meals or bedding have different conditions.

Kirishima Kids Park is for overnight guests and day-bathing customers, with an accompanying parent or adult guardian required. Its three areas are an active zone aimed at approximately ages four to seven, pretend play for ages one to six and a baby area for under one.

Free parking and access from Maruo Onsen bus stop

The address is 3930-12 Takachiho, Makizono-cho. Free parking is listed as 100 spaces and four accessible spaces. Approximate driving times are 30 minutes from Mizobe-Kagoshima Airport IC, 35 minutes from Yokogawa IC and 50 minutes from Miyakonojo IC.

From JR Kirishima-jingu Station, the bus or taxi journey is about 25 minutes. Maruo Onsen bus stop is about a five-minute walk away. The hotel notes that requested parking locations may not be available; a particular space is not guaranteed.
