本館と畳スペースのある別館を選ぶ
本館のシングルとセミダブルは15平方メートル、ダブルとツインは19平方メートルです。別館の和洋室デラックスツインは27.35平方メートルで、ベッド二台と三つ折りマットレスを使い大人三名まで。添い寝の子ども二名を含め最大五名で、大人五名で泊まる部屋ではありません。全室に個別空調、冷蔵庫、電気ケトル、Wi-Fiなどを備え、電子たばこを含め禁煙です。喫煙は指定の喫煙所を利用します。
朝六時からの軽朝食と添い寝
無料の軽朝食は6～9時、最終入場8時45分です。パン、おにぎり、サラダ、汁物、ゆで卵、納豆、ヨーグルトや飲物などを用意し、内容は日によって変わり数量にも限りがあります。小学生までの子どもは添い寝無料で、軽朝食も利用できます。各部屋には添い寝を含めた人数上限があるため、ベッドを共用する子どもを人数に入れて部屋を選びます。中学生からは大人料金の扱いです。
到着締め切りと深夜の出入り
チェックイン16～22時、アウト10時です。22時を過ぎる到着は連絡が必要で、フロント業務終了後の24時超はチェックインできずキャンセル扱いです。宿泊中は深夜24時以降に玄関を施錠しますが、ルームキーで解錠して出入りできます。早い客室利用はできず、16時前は手続きのみ可能です。レイトアウトは一時間税込1,000円、最長12時まで。ペットは泊まれず、宿泊者以外との面会はロビーで行います。
七十五台の駐車場と洗濯設備
宿泊者用の無料駐車場は75台、無料EV充電は2台分です。マイクロバスにも対応しますが、大型バスなどは通行・駐車できない場合があり事前の調整が必要です。コインランドリーは本館一階と別館一階の建物外にあり、洗剤自動投入式。紀伊田辺駅からは商店街を通る徒歩約5分、駅横の陸橋を渡る約6分の経路があり、南紀田辺ICから車約10分です。駅からの徒歩と駐車後の滞在を選べます。
田辺市内で組み合わせる訪問先
田辺市は海辺の市街地から、龍神、中辺路、大塔、本宮の山間部へ広がります。食事の注文締切や宿の到着時間を決め、道路の移動と古道の徒歩を含めた時間で訪問先を組み合わせられます。駐車場は立ち寄る施設や地域の条件に合わせて選べます。
Hotel Kii Tanabe provides a base for exploring by train or car. Main-building Western rooms and Japanese-Western rooms in the HANARE annex, opened in 2025, offer different bedding and occupancy arrangements. An early light breakfast supports departure toward Kumano, while the station-side setting also suits time exploring central Tanabe on foot.

Choosing the main building or tatami-space annex
Main-building singles and semi-doubles measure fifteen square metres, while doubles and twins measure nineteen. The annex’s deluxe Japanese-Western twin is 27.35 square metres, with two beds and a folding mattress for up to three adults. Its five-person maximum includes two children sharing beds; it is not five-adult accommodation. Rooms provide individual air conditioning, a refrigerator, kettle and Wi-Fi. All rooms prohibit smoking, including e-cigarettes, with designated smoking areas available elsewhere.
Light breakfast from six and children sharing beds
Complimentary light breakfast runs 06:00–09:00 with entry by 08:45. Examples include bread, rice balls, salad, soup, boiled eggs, natto, yogurt and drinks, with changing menus and limited quantities. Children through primary-school age sharing an existing bed stay free and can also use breakfast. Each room has an occupancy limit including bed-sharing children, so include them when selecting accommodation. Junior-high pupils and older are treated as adults rather than qualifying under the child bed-sharing rule.
Arrival deadlines and late-night access
Check in 16:00–22:00 and leave by 10:00. Contact the hotel for arrival after 22:00; check-in after midnight, when reception work ends, is unavailable and treated as cancellation. During a stay, the entrance locks after midnight but can be opened with the room key. Early check-in to the room is unavailable, although paperwork can be completed before 16:00. Late departure costs ¥1,000 including tax per hour, until noon at the latest. Pets cannot stay, and meetings with non-guests take place in the lobby.
Parking for seventy-five and laundry facilities
The hotel provides 75 free guest parking spaces and two free EV-charging positions. Microbuses can be accommodated, but larger buses may face access or parking restrictions and need advance arrangements. Coin laundry with automatically dispensed detergent is located on the main building’s ground floor and outside the annex’s ground floor. From Kii-Tanabe Station, the shopping-street route takes about five minutes on foot or the overbridge route six. Nanki-Tanabe Interchange is around ten minutes away by car.

Tanabe extends from its coastal centre into the mountain districts of Ryujin, Nakahechi, Oto and Hongu. Fit the next stop around meal-order deadlines and accommodation arrival, allowing time for both road travel and any walking on the Kumano Kodo. Choose parking according to the facility or district visited and its use conditions.
