雑木林と中庭のあるホテル

国道50号バイパス沿いの雑木林に囲まれた5階建てで、2001年に開業しました。ジョン・デビッド・エジソンがインテリアを手がけ、ヨーロピアン・クラシックの家具や色彩に和の要素も取り入れています。アトリウムガーデンパークなど館内の各所に緑があり、外の観光だけでなく中庭を眺める休息も滞在の一部にできます。

客室の広さと入浴設備

ダブルは35㎡のAと29㎡のB、幅180cmのベッドで2名定員です。ツインは42㎡、幅120cmのベッド2台を備え、浴室にはバスタブと洗い場があります。ユニバーサルツインは手すりを備え、シャワーベンチ等の手配に対応する限られた客室です。全客室禁煙、Wi-Fi無料で、大浴場の代わりに客室の浴室を利用します。

宿泊者ラウンジと曜日別の朝食

3階の宿泊者専用ラウンジは中庭を見渡せ、ウェルカムドリンクが16～19時、最終入室18時40分です。1杯サービスで2杯目から500円。朝食は月水金が和食、火木土が洋食、日曜は和洋選択の案内で、宿泊人数等により提供方式が変わる場合があります。夕食を館内で取る日も、ラウンジと食事の時間を合わせて過ごせます。

15時の到着とバス、無料駐車場

チェックイン15時、チェックアウト11時で、到着が申告時刻より遅れる場合は連絡します。定期の駅送迎バスはなく、路線バスは水戸プラザホテル前から徒歩約3分、県福祉会館前から約10分。無料の平面駐車場は約750台です。ペット同伴は不可、盲導犬同伴は可能。客室からロビーやレストランへは段差のない動線があります。

水戸市内で組み合わせる訪問先

偕楽園・歴史館と千波湖の周辺では、庭園の見学と湖畔の食事を組み合わせられます。宿や飲食店の専用駐車場と一般利用の駐車場は利用目的が異なり、訪問先ごとに車を停める場所を選べます。駅前の店へ移動する場合も、宿の到着時刻、飲食の注文終了、駐車料金を合わせて一日の予定を組めます。

A hotel of woodland and courtyard views

Opened in 2001, the five-storey hotel stands in woodland beside the Route 50 bypass. John David Edison designed interiors combining European classical furniture and colour with Japanese elements. Greenery extends through the atrium garden and other areas of the building. Time spent overlooking the courtyard can form part of the stay alongside visits to Mito’s outdoor attractions.

Room sizes and bathing arrangements

Double type A measures 35 m² and type B 29 m², each accommodating two with a 180-cm bed. The 42-m² twin has two 120-cm beds and a bathroom with bathtub and washing area. A limited number of universal twins have handrails, with shower benches available by arrangement. All guest rooms are nonsmoking with free Wi-Fi; bathing takes place in the room rather than a shared public bath.

The guest lounge and breakfast by weekday

The third-floor guest lounge overlooks the courtyard. Welcome drinks are served 16:00–19:00, with last entry at 18:40; one drink is included and subsequent drinks cost ¥500. Breakfast is advertised as Japanese on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Western on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday, and a choice on Sunday, with service style subject to occupancy. Coordinate lounge time with a restaurant dinner when spending the evening in the hotel.

Arrival at 15:00, buses and free parking

Check in from 15:00 and out by 11:00, notifying the hotel if arrival will be later than stated. There is no regular station shuttle. Local buses reach Mito Plaza Hotel-mae, about three minutes away on foot, or Ken Fukushi Kaikan-mae, about ten minutes away. Approximately 750 surface parking spaces are free. Pets are not accepted, while guide dogs are; routes between rooms, lobby and restaurants have no steps.

Other stops to combine within Mito

Around Kairakuen, the history museum and Lake Senba, combine garden visits with lakeside meals. Hotel and restaurant parking serves a different purpose from general public parking, so choose a parking place for each destination. When continuing to station-side dining, coordinate hotel arrival, food last orders and parking charges across the day.
