うどんすきと蕎麦を囲む食事
名物うどんすきは、だしにうどんと季節の具材を合わせて鍋を囲む料理です。美々卯では自家製粉・自家製麺の蕎麦やうどん、季節の日本料理も大切にしています。出汁、麺、具材を順に楽しむ食事は、家族や友人と落ち着いて過ごす日に向きます。堺は前身の料亭・耳卯楼があった土地で、現在の堺店もその源流を伝える一軒。麺の単品から弁当、コースまで、その日の食事時間と人数に合う内容を選べます。
税込メニューと個室の追加料金
堺みなと鍋2380円、美々卯弁当3000円、カツとじ重2500円、かやく1680円が掲載されています。コースはあおい6600円、あかね7200円、松風8100円、胡蝶8700円で、いずれも税込です。個室には飲食代金（税込）の10％が別途かかります。鍋や会席を選ぶときは、料理の金額と部屋代を合わせて予算を立てます。法事や慶事、家族の祝いの食事にも対応し、持ち帰り商品は電話またはオンラインで予約できます。
昼夜の営業時間と2階個室の動線
営業は11～15時と17～21時30分、注文は各閉店の1時間前、昼14時・夜20時30分までです。火曜は定休日。個室は2階の掘りごたつ式で、エレベーターはありません。階段利用が難しい人と一緒なら、席の場所を含めて予約内容を決めます。会食の開始が遅くなると注文締切までの時間が短くなるため、昼夜の間の休憩時間も考えて来店します。座席予約と駐車枠の予約は別で、駐車場の予約はできません。
宿院からの徒歩と団体送迎
所在地は堺区中之町東1丁1-12。阪堺線宿院電停徒歩約3分、南海堺駅・堺東駅から各約15分です。駐車場を備えますが、車で集まる人数分の枠を予約できるわけではありません。無料送迎バスは10～24名の団体が対象で、片道30分圏内の案内があり、利用内容に合わせて手配します。食事の予約、個室、送迎を一緒にそろえると大人数でも動きやすくなります。少人数なら路面電車と徒歩を使い、宿院周辺のまち歩きと組み合わせられます。

Mimiu Sakai in Nakanochohigashi serves udonsuki hotpot, soba and Japanese dishes for everyday meals and family gatherings. Its tradition reaches back to Sakai’s Mimiuro restaurant. Tables and sunken-legroom private rooms offer different settings, so consider room location and charges alongside the food.

Udonsuki hotpot and soba
Udonsuki brings noodles and seasonal ingredients together in a shared pot of stock. Mimiu also emphasises house-milled and house-made soba and udon, alongside seasonal Japanese cooking. The progression through broth, noodles and ingredients suits an unhurried meal with family or friends. Sakai is where its predecessor, Mimiuro, operated, and this branch connects the present restaurant with that background. Choose from individual noodle dishes, bento-style meals and courses according to the time available and the people gathering around the table.
Tax-inclusive menus and the private-room supplement
Listed dishes include Sakai Minato hotpot ¥2,380, Mimiu bento ¥3,000, katsutoji rice box ¥2,500 and kayaku ¥1,680. Courses are Aoi ¥6,600, Akane ¥7,200, Matsukaze ¥8,100 and Kocho ¥8,700, all tax included. Private rooms add 10% of the tax-inclusive food and drink bill. Include that supplement when budgeting for a hotpot or formal meal. The restaurant caters for family celebrations and memorial gatherings, while takeaway products can be reserved by telephone or online.
Meal periods and access to upstairs private rooms
Open 11:00–15:00 and 17:00–21:30, with orders ending one hour before closing: 14:00 and 20:30. Tuesdays are closed. Sunken-legroom private rooms are on the second floor, without a lift. For companions who find stairs difficult, include seating location in the reservation arrangements. A late start leaves less time before orders finish, and there is a break between lunch and dinner. Reserving a table does not reserve a parking bay: parking reservations are not accepted.
Walking from Shukuin and group shuttle arrangements
At 1-1-12 Nakanochohigashi, Sakai-ku, about three minutes from Shukuin tram stop or fifteen from Sakai and Sakaihigashi stations. Parking is provided, but bays cannot be reserved for every arriving car. A complimentary group shuttle is advertised for ten to twenty-four people, with a stated one-way range of about thirty minutes, arranged around the visit. Coordinate meals, private rooms and transport together for a group. Smaller parties can combine tram travel and walking with a look around Shukuin before or after the meal.
