Oizumi Ryokuchi is a prefectural park with woodland walks and playgrounds in Kanaokacho. Choose among permanent car parks Nos. 1–3 according to the part of the grounds you plan to visit. Weekday and weekend charges differ substantially, and overflow parking does not open daily, so plan arrival day and time together.

Three permanent areas and occasional overflow
Nos. 1–3 provide 787 spaces in total, with additional temporary parking when needed. No. 4 opens on days when the permanent areas are expected to fill, rather than operating continuously. Playgrounds, the sensory garden and sports facilities are spread across the grounds. From No. 3, the paid GoodBBQ area and outdoor cooking hearths are about five minutes away on foot. Spring and autumn can bring full parking areas; the park also posts conditions on Bluesky. Follow the walking routes after leaving the vehicle.
Separate weekday and weekend charges
For ordinary cars, weekday charges through hours one to ten are ¥190, ¥250, ¥320, ¥380, ¥440, ¥500, ¥560, ¥620, ¥680 and ¥740; beyond ten through 24 hours costs ¥800. Weekend/holiday equivalents are ¥390, ¥510, ¥640, ¥760, ¥880, ¥1,000, ¥1,130, ¥1,250 and ¥1,370 through nine hours, then ¥1,490 beyond nine through 24. Buses have a separate tariff: up to four hours costs ¥520 on weekdays or ¥1,050 on weekends/holidays, rising to ¥1,050 or ¥2,100 beyond four through 24.
Concessions before payment and sports discounts
Permanent parking operates 24 hours. A qualifying certificate holder riding in the vehicle can request exemption by showing valid proof. Speak to exit staff or use the intercom before inserting the parking ticket. Mirairo ID is accepted when the holder opens the app; photos or screenshots are not. Weekday OPAS bookings of eligible sports facilities for at least two hours qualify the named booking holder’s one vehicle for a one-hour discount. Take the parking ticket and OPAS card to the park office or sports house for validation.
Left-turn entry to No. 1 and bus arrangements
A central divider prevents right-turn entry to No. 1 from the northbound lane; approach southbound and turn left. Large buses use No. 1 and require a call to the park office followed by a parking request form. Peak-period weekends/holidays are unavailable, and competing requests can also prevent weekday acceptance. The address is 128 Kanaokacho, Kita-ku. Shinkanaoka Station Exit 2 is about one kilometre west of the park, while the Kitakuyakusho-mae bus stop is roughly 800 metres west, providing a public-transport alternative.
