Asaya combines room hot springs, rooftop baths and buffet or private-room course dining beside Kinugawa’s valley. Accommodation is divided between the Shuhoukan and Hachibankan buildings, with selected rooms offering view baths or outdoor baths. Choosing the meal plan, private-bath time and return bus helps organise time around the hotel.

秀峰館と八番館の客室を選ぶ

あさやには秀峰館と八番館があり、連絡通路でつながっています。和室、ベッド付和室、洋室、和洋室に加え、展望風呂や露天風呂を備える客室があります。秀峰館のスモールツインは20平方メートル、渓谷側12畳和室は52平方メートルなど広さと定員が異なります。全室に温泉を引き、専用露天風呂の有無は客室タイプにより変わります。

空中庭園露天風呂と貸切湯

秀峰館13階の空中庭園露天風呂は、山並みと鬼怒川の街を眺める浴場です。両館の大浴場に加え、秀峰館2階には4つの貸切風呂があり、循環式の温泉を使います。1室子どもを含め5名まで、50分4,000円。20時以降の利用は電話で事前予約でき、それより早い時間は当日チェックイン時に予約します。宿泊予約の備考欄では貸切湯の予約になりません。

ビュッフェと子どもの宿泊条件

ASAYA GARDENの夕食は和洋中約100種のビュッフェで、ステーキや天ぷら、石窯ピザなどのライブキッチンを備えます。夕食時間はチェックイン時に案内、食事は90分が目安です。個室のコース料理プランもあります。小学生は大人料金70％、3～5歳50％で食事と寝具付き、1～2歳は入館料2,200円、0歳無料。添い寝で寝具不要でも同じ子ども料金です。

到着連絡、日帰り湯と駅へのバス

通常15時イン・10時アウトで、18時を過ぎる到着は連絡が必要です。遅い時間には夕食を用意できない場合があります。日帰り入浴は終了しており、宿泊で温泉を利用します。無料駐車場へは玄関まで車を付けて案内を受けます。駅からダイヤルバスは大人300円・子ども150円、駅発は予約不要、ホテル発は全便予約制で15分前までにフロントへ申し込みます。

日光市内で組み合わせる訪問先

龍王峡は鉄道駅から歩き始められ、入口近くでそばや湯波の昼食を取れます。鬼怒川温泉の宿に泊まる場合は、宿から渓谷への移動を別に取り、長い川治方面の道と入口に戻る短い周回を選べます。車なら駐車した入口へ戻る時間、鉄道なら戻りの列車と夕食時刻に合わせ、歩く距離を決められます。

Choosing between the two buildings

Shuhoukan and Hachibankan are connected by passageways. Choices include tatami rooms, tatami rooms with beds, Western rooms and mixed rooms, alongside selected rooms with view baths or outdoor baths. Sizes and capacities differ: Shuhoukan small twins are twenty square metres, while its twelve-mat valley-side rooms are fifty-two. Every room has hot-spring water, but a private outdoor bath depends on the category.

Rooftop and private bathing

Shuhoukan’s thirteenth-floor outdoor baths look towards the mountains and Kinugawa town. Both buildings have communal baths; four private baths on Shuhoukan’s second floor use recirculated hot-spring water. Each accommodates five including children and costs ¥4,000 for fifty minutes. Times from 20:00 can be reserved in advance by telephone; earlier slots are booked at check-in. Notes entered with a room reservation do not reserve a private bath.

Buffet meals and children’s rates

ASAYA GARDEN offers around one hundred Japanese, Western and Chinese buffet dishes, with live cooking of steak, tempura and stone-oven pizza. Dinner times are allocated at check-in with about ninety minutes for the meal; private-room course plans are also available. Primary pupils pay seventy percent of the adult rate and ages three–five fifty percent with meals and bedding. Ages one–two pay ¥2,200 admission and babies under one are free; sharing bedding does not reduce these child rates.

Arrival notices and station transport

Normal arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00. Notify the hotel for arrival after 18:00; late arrivals may miss dinner. There is no day-bathing service, so bathing is part of an overnight stay. Drive to the entrance for directions to free parking. The Dial Bus costs ¥300/adult or ¥150/child: station departures need no booking, but every hotel departure must be booked at reception at least fifteen minutes beforehand.

Other stops to combine within Nikko

Ryuokyo walks start by its railway station, with soba and yuba near the entrance. A Kinugawa Onsen stay requires a separate journey to the gorge. Choose between a longer Kawaji route and a shorter circuit returning to the entrance. Coordinate the return to the parked car or the next train with hotel dinner when selecting a distance.
