Suginamiki Park’s free parking serves walks among Imaichi’s cedars, waterwheels and restored houses. Choose the road-side or station-side area and continue into the park on foot. House viewing, outdoor walks and Hotokuan dining each follow their own hours.

Road-side and station-side parking
Parking is divided between Route 119 and the area near Kami-Imaichi Station. The road-side area provides twenty-seven car spaces and three bus spaces, while the station side has twenty-six car spaces; both are free. Choose according to vehicle type and the direction of arrival, then continue on foot. Note which side was used for the return walk.
Walking to cedars and waterwheels
The park protects the roots of the historic cedar avenue while preserving local culture. Its waterwheels relate to incense production, rice processing and milling, with lifting wheels and overseas examples also displayed. After parking, walk through the park to see flowing water and the wheels rather than viewing only the roadside. It offers a closer pedestrian experience of a landscape often passed by car.
Separate hours for the house and restaurant
The Ezure house, built in 1830 and relocated here, is free to view from 10:00 to 16:00, closing December 29–January 3. Hotokuan soba restaurant occupies a different reconstructed Hotoku farmhouse. The house’s closed dates and times do not describe the outdoor park. When combining architecture and lunch, coordinate the separate hours of the two buildings.
The station and park walk
The park lies near 382 Segawa and Kami-Imaichi Station on the Tobu Nikko Line. A monument to the former Korean-envoy guesthouse adds another walking stop beside the wheels and houses. Parties arriving separately by rail can meet on the station side. Coordinate the walk, lunch order deadline and onward driving or train journey when adding Imaichi to the itinerary.
Other stops to combine within Nikko
In Imaichi, combine park waterwheels and restored houses with Hotokuan soba, noting separate house-viewing and food-order deadlines. A Hotel Murakami stay can include railway trips. JR Imaichi, Tobu Shimo-Imaichi and park-side Kami-Imaichi are different stations; match the parked-car location with the station used for onward visits.
