県営湖畔第一駐車場は、中禅寺湖の散策や遊覧船と組み合わせやすい、湖畔の有料駐車場です。一回利用と県営駐車場の共通1日券を選べ、奥日光を車で巡る日の移動回数に合わせられます。24時間の入出庫と、船・飲食店など各施設の営業時刻は別に組み合わせます。

湖岸と遊覧船へ歩く位置
中宮祠2478の湖畔にあり、船の駅中禅寺へは徒歩約3分です。湖岸の散策と船の利用を組み合わせ、車を置いて湖からの景色を眺められます。湖畔第一と湖畔第二は別の駐車場なので、帰りに戻る場所を覚えて歩きます。船の乗り場と周辺の店を巡る時間を、駐車した日の日程の中へまとめて取れる位置です。
朝4時の区切りと一回の料金
入庫から15分以内の利用は無料です。超過時の料金は普通車500円、二輪車200円、大型バス2,000円で、朝4時から翌朝4時を一つの日として繰り返し適用します。日をまたいで泊める行程では、午前0時ではなく4時が料金の日付境界です。一回利用の料金と、対象の県営駐車場へ繰り返し出入りできる共通1日券は別の利用方法。湖畔一か所で歩く日と、車でいくつも巡る日で選べます。
229台と車の大きさ、共通券
収容は229台で、乗用車の制限は全長5m・全幅1.9m・全高2.1m・重量2tです。現金、クレジットカード、電子マネーに対応。11か所で使う共通1日券は普通車1,000円、二輪400円、バス4,000円で、対象場が空いていれば何度でも入出庫できます。出庫前までにWEBで購入します。WEB購入できないバス利用者のみ、日光自然博物館や赤沼自然情報センターで現金購入できます。共通券は満車時の駐車場所を確保するものではありません。
降雪時の閉鎖と湖畔での利用
通常は24時間、年中無休ですが、降雪などで県営駐車場の一部を一時閉鎖する場合があります。湖畔の道やいろは坂の交通事情も合わせて移動します。車外へごみを置く行為はクマやサルを引き寄せるため避け、駐車区画での調理・洗濯、テーブルや椅子、タープの展開もできません。車を置く休憩と、湖畔の散策や各施設の利用を分けて過ごせます。
日光市内で組み合わせる訪問先
中禅寺湖の船の駅と竜頭の滝、中禅寺金谷ホテルは、湖岸に沿って移動して組み合わせる訪問先です。船の55分一周と茶屋の昼の営業、ホテルでの食事や入浴を組み合わせる日は、それぞれの施設への移動時間も見込めます。秋はいろは坂の交通や湖上の天候で予定が変わるため、出発と帰りの便を軸に巡れます。
Kohan No. 1 serves lakeside walks and cruises on Lake Chuzenji. Choose a single entry or the prefectural day pass according to the number of parking stops planned around Oku-Nikko. Around-the-clock vehicle access is separate from the opening times of boats, restaurants and other attractions.

A lakeside base for walking and cruises
At 2478 Chugushi, the lot is about three minutes from Fune-no-Eki Chuzenji cruise landing. Leave the car for a lakeside walk or a journey on the water. Kohan No. 1 and No. 2 are separate lots, so note the return location. The landing and nearby shops can form one walking part of the day’s driving itinerary.
The 4:00 boundary and entry charges
Stays of fifteen minutes or less from entry are free. Otherwise, entry charges are ¥500 for cars, ¥200 for motorcycles and ¥2,000 for buses, using a repeating charging day from 4:00 until the next 4:00. This boundary, rather than midnight, matters for overnight parking. A single-entry charge differs from the shared day pass permitting repeated entries at participating prefectural lots. Choose according to a one-stop lake walk or several driving stops.
Capacity, vehicle dimensions and day passes
Capacity is 229 spaces. Car-space limits are five metres long, 1.9 wide, 2.1 high and two tonnes. Cash, cards and electronic money are accepted. The eleven-lot day pass costs ¥1,000/car, ¥400/motorcycle or ¥4,000/bus, allowing repeat entry where spaces are available. Buy it online before leaving the car park. Only bus users unable to purchase online may pay cash at Nikko Natural Science Museum or Akanuma Nature Information Centre. The pass does not reserve a space when full.
Snow closures and use of the lakeside lot
Ordinarily open twenty-four hours year round, prefectural lots may close temporarily because of snow or other conditions. Account also for lakeside roads and Irohazaka traffic. Keep waste inside the vehicle to avoid attracting bears or monkeys. Cooking, washing, tables, chairs and awnings are not permitted in the parking area. Use the lot for parking and breaks while arranging walks and activities elsewhere.
Other stops to combine within Nikko
Fune-no-Eki, Ryuzu Falls and Chuzenji Kanaya are separate stops reached along the lakeshore. When combining the fifty-five-minute cruise, daytime teahouse service and hotel dining or bathing, allow travel time between the facilities. Autumn Irohazaka traffic and lake weather may alter plans, so organise the route around available outbound and return services.

湯西川温泉駅直結の道の駅で休む駐車場。小型車52台・大型3台・身障者用3台の区分があり、駐車場とトイレは終日利用できます。急速充電1回30分550円、普通充電90分100円、受付は急速16時30分・普通15時30分まで。売店や温泉の営業は別で、温泉は8・10・11月の第3火曜が休みです。

龍王峡駅近く、渓谷散策に使う市営の無料駐車場。公衆トイレは多目的設備があり24時間利用可能、冬季閉鎖なしです。駐車後は徒歩で虹見の滝やむささび橋へ。駅から虹見の滝約12分、むささび橋周回は約2km・1時間。今市ICから通常約35分です。

日光山輪王寺の一般乗用車専用駐車場。料金は時期により500～1,000円、予約不可、二輪・三輪不可で車の大きさによる制限もあります。受付は4～10月7時30分～16時、11～3月15時まで。積雪や落葉で開始が遅れたり、行事で利用できない場合があり、寺院の拝観締切とは別です。
