Chuzenji Kanaya offers forest and lake views from rooms and its lobby, with Soraburo hot-spring baths in a separate building. 湖畔の森とバルコニーのある客室

ホテルは中宮祠2482の湖畔にあり、ミズナラの木立に包まれています。57室の客室は全てバルコニーまたはウッドデッキ付き。スタンダードツインは28～30平方メートル、デラックスツイン33平方メートルで、セミダブルやスイートも選べます。ロビーは木立越しに湖を望み、冬季は夕刻から暖炉に火を入れる空間です。

硫黄泉の空ぶろと日帰り利用

空ぶろは約12km離れた湯元の硫黄泉を引き、男女それぞれに内湯・露天風呂・サウナを備えます。温度調整の加水や冬の加温を行う場合があります。宿泊者は5時30分～9時30分、13～24時に無料利用。日帰りは13～15時、大人1,800円・小学生1,100円でタオル付き。みずなら・ユーコン利用者は1,300円、日光金谷の宿泊者は900円の割引があります。

みずならの料理と夜の滞在

ダイニング「みずなら」は朝食7時30分～9時30分、昼食・喫茶12～14時、夕食18～20時のラストオーダーです。夕食はコース、朝食はアメリカンブレックファースト。客室のナイトウェアやスリッパは食堂で使えません。宿泊客専用ラウンジしゃくなげではコーヒーと紅茶を楽しめます。正面玄関は23時～翌6時30分施錠となり、その時間の外出はフロントで手配します。

日光市内で組み合わせる訪問先

中禅寺湖の船の駅と竜頭の滝、中禅寺金谷ホテルは、湖岸に沿って移動して組み合わせる訪問先です。遊覧船と茶屋の昼の営業、ホテルでの食事や入浴を組み合わせる日は、それぞれの施設への移動時間も見込めます。秋はいろは坂の交通や湖上の天候で予定が変わるため、出発と帰りの便を軸に巡れます。

Woodland rooms and balconies

At 2482 Chugushi, the hotel stands among lakeside oak trees. All fifty-seven rooms have a balcony or deck. Standard twins measure 28–30 square metres and deluxe twins thirty-three, with semi-double rooms and suites also available. The lobby looks towards the lake through the woodland and uses its fireplace on winter evenings.

Soraburo and day visits

Soraburo draws sulphurous water from Yumoto about twelve kilometres away, with indoor and outdoor baths and a sauna for each gender. Water may be added to adjust temperature, with heating possible in winter. Guests bathe free 5:30–9:30 and 13:00–24:00. Day visits cost ¥1,800/adult or ¥1,100/primary pupil during 13:00–15:00, towels included. Discounts are ¥1,300 for Mizunara/Yukon customers and ¥900 for Nikko Kanaya overnight guests.

Mizunara dining and evening arrangements

Mizunara takes last orders at 9:30 for breakfast from 7:30, 14:00 for lunch and tea from noon, and 20:00 for dinner from 18:00. Dinner is a course meal and breakfast American style; room nightwear and slippers cannot be worn in the dining room. The guests-only Shakunage lounge serves coffee and tea. The front entrance is locked 23:00–6:30, with outings during that period arranged through reception.

Autumn 2026 shuttles and Irohazaka

Check-in is from 15:00, last arrival 20:00, and checkout 11:00. When checked on November 3, 2026, the official website displayed system maintenance with no announced end time, preventing confirmation of the latest shuttle arrangements. Ask Chuzenji Kanaya Hotel (0288-51-0001) about autumn operating dates, departure times and same-day bathing conditions before travelling. Local Yumoto-bound buses stop at Chuzenji Kanaya Hotel-mae. Fifty free parking spaces run arrival-day noon to departure-day noon. Carry winter traction equipment.

Other stops to combine within Nikko

Fune-no-Eki, Ryuzu Falls and Chuzenji Kanaya are separate stops reached along the lakeshore. When combining the lake cruise, daytime teahouse service and hotel dining or bathing, allow travel time between the facilities. Autumn Irohazaka traffic and lake weather may alter plans, so organise the route around available outbound and return services.
