大仏のそばで続く木造の宿
1932年1月に開業した木造2階建ての旅館です。和室20室・定員40人で、一人旅、家族、仕事での滞在を受け入れています。客室の風呂とトイレは共用で、浴衣、タオル、テレビ、お茶セットなどを備えます。館内無料Wi-Fiがあり、冷蔵庫は客室内ではなく1・2階の共用設備です。
家庭料理の夕朝食と提供場所
夕食は18～20時、朝食は7～8時で、富山湾からの魚介を中心にした家庭料理を用意します。料理の内容は季節で変わり、1人の場合は客室、2人以上は別の個室での食事です。宴会だけの予約は受け付けていません。食事を付けて泊まる場合は、夜の散策から夕食時刻までに戻れる行程にできます。
共用風呂と朝のシャワー
男女2か所の浴場は17～22時30分で、男湯は3～4人、女湯は2～3人の規模です。朝7～9時はシャワーのみ利用できます。洗濯機と乾燥機は各1台で、合わせて100円。無料の貸出し自転車は2台、先着順です。荷物はチェックイン前後も7～22時に預かり、徒歩での市街地観光に使えます。
駅からの徒歩と23時の門限
高岡駅から徒歩約6分、大仏へ1分、古城公園へ5分。車は高岡ICから約15分で、無料駐車は普通車15台・中型バス1台です。バイクと自転車にはシャッター付き屋内保管場所があります。イン16～23時・アウト6～10時、門限23時で夜は静かに過ごす宿です。ペットは宿泊できません。
高岡市内で組み合わせる訪問先
高岡古城公園と大仏周辺は徒歩で巡りやすく、大佛旅館を拠点にする行程も組めます。駅前の次元は公園とは別の場所で、北口Pからは市街地を歩く時間を取ります。日曜のラーメン店は18時終了、旅館は夕食時間と23時の門限があり、昼の公園散策から夜の帰館まで予定を合わせられます。
Daibutsu Ryokan occupies a two-storey timber building near Takaoka’s Great Buddha. Tatami rooms, shared baths and homestyle meals based around Toyama Bay seafood shape the stay. The Buddha and Kojo Park are walkable, while a 23:00 curfew and set meal/bath times guide evening plans.

A timber inn beside the Great Buddha
Opened in January 1932, this two-storey timber inn has twenty Japanese rooms and capacity for forty guests, welcoming solo, family and work stays. Baths and toilets are shared. Rooms provide yukata, towels, television and tea facilities. Wi-Fi is free throughout; refrigerators are shared on the first and second floors rather than inside rooms.
Homestyle meals and where they are served
Dinner is served 18:00–20:00 and breakfast 7:00–8:00, featuring homestyle dishes centred on Toyama Bay seafood. Menus vary seasonally. Solo guests dine in their room; parties of two or more use a separate private room. Banquet-only bookings are unavailable. Guests booking meals can plan evening walks around returning for dinner.
Shared baths and morning showers
Separate baths open 17:00–22:30, holding roughly three to four in the men’s bath and two to three in the women’s. Only showers are available 7:00–9:00. One washer and dryer cost ¥100 together. Two free loan bicycles are first come. Luggage can be stored before/after the stay between 7:00 and 22:00, allowing city walks without bags.
Station walk and the 23:00 curfew
Walk about six minutes from Takaoka Station, one to the Great Buddha and five to Kojo Park. Driving takes about fifteen minutes from Takaoka Interchange. Free parking holds fifteen cars and one mid-sized coach, with shuttered indoor storage for motorcycles/bicycles. Check-in is 16:00–23:00 and check-out 6:00–10:00, with a 23:00 curfew and quiet evenings. Pets cannot stay.
Other stops to combine within Takaoka
Kojo Park and the Great Buddha area support a walking route based at Daibutsu Ryokan. Jigen is near the station, separate from the park, requiring a city walk from North parking. Sunday ramen service ends at 18:00, and the ryokan has fixed meal times and a 23:00 curfew. Plan from the daytime park visit through the evening return.
