今市790、国道119号沿いにあり、日光街道と例幣使街道が合わさる市街地に位置します。JR今市駅と東武下今市駅の中間で、公式の徒歩目安は両駅から約5分。日光駅方面へ進むJRと、鬼怒川方面にも分岐する東武の使い分けができます。今市の街道沿いを散策する時間と、日光・鬼怒川の見学を別の日程に組む拠点にもなります。

シングル、ツインと4名までの和室

シングル24室はデスクを備え、一人の旅行や仕事で利用できます。ツイン6室はベッド2台、和室2室は最大4名で過ごせる畳の客室です。いずれもバスとトイレ、無料Wi-Fiがあり、全室に冷蔵庫を備えます。シングルとツインには液晶テレビも用意。人数、ベッドか畳か、作業する机の必要性によって部屋を選べます。

今市では、杉並木公園の水車や復元民家を歩き、報徳庵でそばを食べる行程を組めます。旧江連家の見学時間と食事の注文締切は異なります。ホテル村上を拠点に鉄道も使う日は、JR今市、東武下今市、公園近くの上今市を区別し、車を置く場所と列車に乗る駅を合わせて市内の見学へ進めます。

Between historic roads and railway stations

At 790 Imaichi beside Route 119, the hotel occupies the central area where the Nikko and Reiheishi roads meet. It lies between JR Imaichi and Tobu Shimo-Imaichi, with an official walking estimate of about five minutes from each. JR serves the Nikko direction, while Tobu also provides the Kinugawa branch. A stay can divide walks through Imaichi’s old-road townscape and excursions towards Nikko or Kinugawa across different days.

Singles, twins and tatami rooms

The twenty-four single rooms have desks for solo travel or work. Six twins offer two beds, while two tatami rooms accommodate up to four people. Each category has a private bathroom and toilet plus free Wi-Fi, and refrigerators are provided throughout. Singles and twins also list flat-screen televisions. Choose around the number travelling, beds versus tatami and the need for a work desk.

Communal bathing and shared spaces

The shared areas use an oak-toned design and include reception, a lobby, dining room and communal bath. Room bathing and the shared facility provide alternatives after rail journeys or walking through Imaichi. First-come parking and station walks

Free parking is first come, with no height limit, from the morning of arrival until around midday on departure day. Directions identify spaces to the right behind the Namiki Soba entrance and directly behind the hotel, within about a minute’s walk. The nearby stations allow rail sections to form part of a driving itinerary. JR and Tobu use different stations, so return to Imaichi or Shimo-Imaichi according to the train booked.

Other stops to combine within Nikko

In Imaichi, combine park waterwheels and restored houses with Hotokuan soba, noting separate house-viewing and food-order deadlines. A Hotel Murakami stay can include railway trips. JR Imaichi, Tobu Shimo-Imaichi and park-side Kami-Imaichi are different stations; match the parked-car location with the station used for onward visits.
