木内酒造のビールと茨城の食材
木内酒造が運営し、出来たての常陸野ネストビールをドラフトで提供します。常陸牛のハンバーガーをはじめ、茨城の肉や野菜を使う料理、サンド系、つまみ、スイーツがそろいます。店は「常陸野の風土を味わう」をテーマにし、美明豚やつくば鶏、常陸さばも食材として紹介しています。食事とビールを一つの場所で組み合わせられる駅ビルの店です。
季節の樽生と1,500円のセット
2026年10月7日掲載の期間限定メニューは、樽生フレッシュホップと青唐辛子チョリソーのペアリングセット1,500円税込で、ビールをラージサイズにすると500円追加です。チョリソーは茨城県産豚肉の粗挽き肉に青唐辛子を合わせています。通常の飲み物にはビールのほか清酒、ワイン、ソフトドリンクがあり、昼のカフェ利用と夜の食事を選べます。
日曜は閉店と注文終了が1時間早い
月曜～土曜と祝日は11～22時、日曜は11～21時です。料理の最終注文は通常21時、ドリンク21時30分ですが、日曜は料理20時・ドリンク20時30分となります。休みはエクセルみなみの休館日に準ずる不定休です。列車までの夕食を予定する際は、閉店時刻だけでなく食事の注文終了時刻も合わせて選べます。予約とテイクアウトにも対応しています。
エクセルみなみ4階、禁煙の47席
所在地は宮町1-7-31、水戸駅ビル・エクセルみなみ4階です。カウンター7席に加え、2人・4人・6人向けのテーブルがあり、全47席。店内は終日禁煙です。クレジットカード、交通系電子マネーや複数のコード決済に対応しています。持ち帰り用の土産ビールは同じ建物3階の木内酒造店で扱い、4階での飲食と土産の買い物を分けて回れます。

偕楽園・歴史館と千波湖の周辺では、庭園の見学と湖畔の食事を組み合わせられます。宿や飲食店の専用駐車場と一般利用の駐車場は利用目的が異なり、訪問先ごとに車を停める場所を選べます。駅前の店へ移動する場合も、宿の到着時刻、飲食の注文終了、駐車料金を合わせて一日の予定を組めます。
Hitachino Brewing Mito pairs draft Hitachino Nest beer with Ibaraki ingredients inside the station building. It can fit a Hitachi beef burger lunch, a snack after exploring or dinner before a train. Soft drinks and sweets provide choices alongside the alcoholic drinks.

Kiuchi beer and Ibaraki ingredients
Operated by Kiuchi Brewery, the restaurant serves freshly supplied Hitachino Nest beer on draft. Hitachi beef burgers lead food choices that include sandwiches, snacks and sweets using Ibaraki produce. The restaurant’s regional-food concept also introduces Bimeiton pork, Tsukuba chicken and Hitachi mackerel as ingredients. It brings a meal and brewery drinks together within the station shopping building.
Seasonal draft beer and a ¥1,500 set
A seasonal offer posted on October 7, 2026 pairs Fresh Hop draft beer with green-chilli chorizo for ¥1,500 including tax. A large beer adds ¥500. The chorizo combines coarsely ground Ibaraki pork with green chilli. Other drink choices include sake, wine and soft drinks alongside beer, allowing a daytime café stop as well as an evening meal.
Sunday closes and last orders move earlier
Monday–Saturday and public holidays open 11:00–22:00; Sundays close at 21:00. Food last order is normally 21:00 and drinks 21:30, moving to 20:00 and 20:30 on Sunday. Irregular closures follow Excel Minami. When fitting dinner before a train, use the food-order cutoff as well as the closing time. Reservations and takeaway are available.
Forty-seven nonsmoking seats on the fourth floor
Find the restaurant on Excel Minami’s fourth floor at 1-7-31 Miyamachi. Seven counter seats and tables for two, four and six give forty-seven seats in total. The interior is nonsmoking throughout the day. Payment options include cards, transport e-money and several QR systems. Packaged souvenir beer is sold at Kiuchi’s shop on the third floor of the same building, separate from fourth-floor dining.
Other stops to combine within Mito
Around Kairakuen, the history museum and Lake Senba, combine garden visits with lakeside meals. Hotel and restaurant parking serves a different purpose from general public parking, so choose a parking place for each destination. When continuing to station-side dining, coordinate hotel arrival, food last orders and parking charges across the day.
