市営三峰駐車場は、標高約1,000メートルの山上で三峯神社や登山に使う駐車場です。車種別の一回料金で、時間貸しの市街駐車場とは計算方法が異なります。進入する山道、混雑、登山者の駐車区画、障害者減額の条件を踏まえ、山上での滞在に必要な時間を取れます。

神社の駐車場と所在地を区別する
駐車場の所在地は三峰8-2で、神社の298-1とは異なります。山上の参拝や登山を支える市営施設で、通常の利用時間は8～18時です。渋滞対策として施錠しない運用ですが、利用時間内に止まっている車は料金を支払います。夜に入れば昼の滞在も無料になる仕組みではありません。山上で車を止める計画は、通常の有料利用と参拝・登山の予定を合わせて立てられます。
車種別の一回料金と払い方
駐車は一日一回で二輪210円、普通車等520円、マイクロバス1,040円、大型バス1,570円です。料金は入場時に納めます。貨物車は最大積載量二トン以上四トン未満が1,040円、四トン以上が1,570円で、乗合車は定員などの区分があります。納付した料金は原則返金されません。乗用車の料金を大型車や業務用車へそのまま当てはめず、車種の区分で利用します。
半額対象と登山者の区画
身体障害者または知的障害者が自ら運転する自家用車は、手帳提示で半額の対象です。介護者が運転する場合は第一種身体・知的障害者を乗せる自家用車が対象で、全ての同乗ケースへ広げる制度ではありません。登山者は料金所入口を入り右側奥、または成蹊殿前の有料区画へ止めます。駐車場内の火気使用や、ほかの車の駐車を妨げる行為はできません。
九キロ手前からの山道と混雑
二瀬駐車場からここまで約九キロの間にトイレはありません。山道には急カーブ、狭い箇所、落石や動物の飛び出しがあり、冷え込みも強い場所です。市は駐車場や周辺道路の混雑状況を配信しています。表参道入口の登竜橋工事は歩行者専用橋の補修で車道の通行とは別です。山上で食事を取る場合は、店の午後早い終了と通常18時までの駐車利用も合わせて行程を組めます。
秩父市内で組み合わせる訪問先
市街の見学、吉田・荒川の立ち寄り、大滝や三峰の山道では移動に必要な時間が異なります。食事の注文締切と宿への到着時間を合わせ、関連する施設へ車や鉄道で続く行程を組めます。駐車場はそれぞれの施設・地域での利用条件に合わせて選べます。
Municipal Mitsumine parking serves the shrine and hiking routes at around 1,000 metres elevation. Vehicle-category charges apply per daily entry rather than using an urban hourly tariff. Mountain-road access, congestion, designated hiking spaces and the eligibility rules for disability reductions all affect how to use the site and plan sufficient time on the mountain.

Identify the municipal site rather than the shrine address
The parking address is 8-2 Mitsumine, distinct from the shrine at 298-1. This municipal facility supports mountain worship and hiking, normally 08:00–18:00. It stays unlocked as part of congestion management, but vehicles parked during operating hours still owe the fee. Arriving overnight does not turn a daytime stay into free parking. Plan the mountain visit around ordinary paid use rather than treating the unlocked entrance as a different tariff.
Vehicle categories and payment on entry
A daily entry costs motorcycle ¥210, ordinary car ¥520, minibus ¥1,040 or large bus ¥1,570, paid when entering. Goods vehicles with a maximum payload from two to under four tonnes fall in the ¥1,040 category; four tonnes and above cost ¥1,570. Passenger vehicles also have capacity-based categories. Paid fees are generally nonrefundable. Use the applicable vehicle classification rather than extending the ordinary-car price to larger or commercial vehicles.
Half-price eligibility and hiking parking areas
A noncommercial vehicle driven by a person with a physical or intellectual disability qualifies for a half-price reduction on presentation of the relevant certificate. When a carer drives, eligibility requires an accompanying category-one physical or intellectual disability holder; it does not extend to every passenger case. Hikers use paid spaces at the rear right after the entrance or in front of Seikeiden. Fires and obstruction of other vehicles are prohibited within the parking area.
Mountain-road conditions and the final nine kilometres
There are no toilets during the roughly nine kilometres from Futase parking to this site. The mountain road includes sharp bends, narrow sections, possible rockfall and wildlife crossings, with cold conditions at altitude. The city provides parking and approach-road congestion information. Toryu Bridge repairs concern a pedestrian bridge at the traditional approach, separately from vehicle access. Coordinate any mountain meal’s early-afternoon finish with ordinary parking use through 18:00 when arranging the day.
Other stops to combine within Chichibu
Central sightseeing, stops in Yoshida or Arakawa, and mountain roads towards Otaki or Mitsumine require different travel times. Fit meal-order deadlines and accommodation arrival around the next stop by car or railway. Choose related parking according to its own facility or area and the applicable use conditions.
