白潟駐車場は、白潟本町や天神町など松江中心部の南側を歩く時に使える市営駐車場です。日中は30分単位、夜は別の料金帯となり、買物や食事から夜の滞在まで利用時間に合わせて選べます。車を置いて通りを歩き、湖畔や川沿いへ足を延ばす拠点にもなります。

城の北側と分けて考える南の拠点

駐車場は白潟本町にあり、天神町の通りや中心部の南側を歩く行程に組み込めます。城や塩見縄手を中心に回る北側の駐車場とは位置が異なるため、その日の食事や散策の中心に合わせて選べます。短い買物で一度戻る使い方にも、車を置いて複数の通りを歩く使い方にも向き、町歩きの後に車へ戻る道を先に決めておくと便利です。

日中四時間までの料金とその後

8～22時は4時間まで30分ごと100円、4時間を過ぎると1時間ごと200円です。日中の料金表は利用時間による加算方式なので、昼食だけの短時間と、観光を続ける長めの利用で合計が変わります。同じ場所へ車を置き続ける場合も、帰る時刻が22時をまたぐかで次の料金帯が関わります。入庫時刻と戻る時刻を合わせて行程を考えられます。

二十二時から翌八時の夜間上限

22～翌8時は30分50円で、この時間帯の上限は600円です。夜間上限は夜の料金帯に対するもので、日中に入った分まで一律600円になる条件ではありません。年中無休24時間のため夜の食事後にも出庫でき、朝早い出発にも対応できます。店を出てから慌てて走らずに戻れるよう、駐車位置と出口までの歩行経路を覚えておけます。

現金の準備と機械トラブルの対応

普通車135台を収容し、精算は現金だけです。使えるのは千円札と500・100・50・10円硬貨で、現地で両替はできません。大きな紙幣だけにならないよう、買物や食事の後も精算用の現金を残しておくと便利です。問い合わせ時間外の駐車券紛失や機械トラブルは、精算機のインターホンで警備会社が対応します。車へ戻る前に駐車券も確認できます。

A southern base for a different part of town

The lot’s Shirakata-Honmachi location suits Tenjin-machi and southern central streets. It serves a different area from parking around the castle and Shiomi Nawate, so choose according to the day’s meals and walking destinations. It can support a short shopping stop or a longer walk through several streets; noting the return route makes it easier to find the car afterwards.

The first four daytime hours and subsequent charging

Between 08:00 and 22:00, the first four hours cost ¥100 per thirty minutes; subsequent time costs ¥200 per hour. Charges accumulate with duration, so a lunch stop and an extended sightseeing stay lead to different totals. Remaining beyond 22:00 brings the next tariff period into consideration. Plan both arrival and return times when deciding how long to leave the vehicle.

The night cap from twenty-two to eight

From 22:00–08:00, charging is ¥50 per thirty minutes with a ¥600 cap for that period. It does not turn daytime parking into a flat ¥600 stay. Year-round, twenty-four-hour access allows departure after dinner or early in the morning. Note the parking position and pedestrian route so returning to the car is straightforward.

Cash preparation and assistance at the machine

The lot holds 135 cars and accepts cash only: ¥1,000 notes plus ¥500, ¥100, ¥50 and ¥10 coins. Change-making is unavailable, so retain suitable cash after shopping or meals rather than only large banknotes. For a lost ticket or machine problem outside enquiry hours, the payment machine’s intercom connects to the security company. Check that you have the parking ticket before returning to the vehicle.
