Animal areas and a family visit
Visit capybara and alpaca areas, the dog-encounter zone, sheep and small animals. Mini adventure equipment and a battery-car area add play alongside animal watching. Packed lunches are allowed in the outdoor barbecue area or lawn, with all rubbish taken away. Food facilities provide another option. Combine encounters, play and a break according to the family’s interests rather than assuming every activity must be completed in a fixed order.
Pony-riding and goat-milking sessions
Pony riding costs ¥1,000. Weekday sessions are 10:00–10:45, 14:00–15:00 and 15:30–16:30; weekends and holidays add 12:00–12:30. Goat milking costs ¥300, normally at 10:45–11:00 and 13:30–13:45, with seasonal adjustments. Both are additional to admission. Choose a morning or afternoon arrival around the activity you want, and budget separately for simply entering the park and joining the extra experiences.
Age-based admission and seasonal closures
Admission is ¥1,000 from high-school age and ¥600 for ages three through junior high; groups of fifteen or more receive ¥100 off per person. Qualifying physical-disability certificate holders pay ¥500, and a wheelchair user’s accompanying person is also charged ¥500. Normal hours are 09:00–17:00, last entry 16:30, closing Thursdays except periods such as Golden Week and holidays. An additional closure applies Wednesday December 2, 2026. Winter maintenance closures and seasonal hour changes mean winter visits follow the seasonal operating schedule.
Free parking and facilities for younger children
At 622-2 Okanari, the ranch is around twenty minutes by car from Yonago Station or three from Yonago Interchange, with free parking. Buses towards Daisenji stop at Okanari, about five minutes away on foot. The operator describes barrier-free grounds; a nursing room adjoins the toilet behind the battery-car area, with changing tables at two locations. Pets are not admitted, and smoking is restricted to the designated front-entrance area. Fit children’s breaks around activities and the journey back.
