足尾の宿 かじか｜庚申川の温泉と15室、4月改定の日帰り湯

Kajika lies in the Koshin River valley, combining mountain views and hot springs with access to Ashio’s industrial heritage. Its fifteen rooms share dining based on local ingredients and baths with indoor, outdoor and low-temperature sauna facilities. Overnight and day visits have different times and prices. 庚申川の谷にある15室の宿

旧国民宿舎かじか荘として知られる施設で、現在は足尾の宿かじかとして営業しています。鉄筋2階建てに洋室6、和室4、和洋室5の全15室。全室にトイレと洗面所、Wi-Fi、冷蔵庫、個別空調があり、入浴は共用の庚申の湯を利用します。和洋室は南向きで、ベッドと畳を組み合わせ、山の風景を眺めながら過ごせます。

庚申の湯と2026年4月の料金改定

アルカリ性単純温泉のpHは10.0、源泉36度、浴槽は目安41度です。内湯、露天風呂、低温サウナを備え、水風呂はありません。日帰りは11～15時、最終14時30分。4月1日改定後、市外は中学生以上1,000円、4歳～小学生700円。市民は中学生～64歳500円、65歳以上300円、4歳～小学生250円で、4歳未満無料です。対象の手帳等の本人と介護者1名は免除となります。

日光の食材と日帰りの食事

宿の料理は頂鱒、ひみつ豚、湯波など日光の食材を取り入れたコースを用意し、朝食はソーセージとグリル野菜などの和洋折衷です。日帰りランチは11～14時、ラストオーダー13時30分で、宿泊夕食とは時間帯が異なります。宿泊・日帰り入浴・食事処の営業日は、来館前に宿（0288-93-3420）へ確認してください。山歩きや銅山見学と合わせ、確認した受付時刻を基準に予定できます。

通洞駅の予約送迎と無料駐車

イン15時・アウト10時、無料駐車は20台で予約不要です。わたらせ渓谷鐵道の通洞駅からタクシー約15分で、宿泊者は事前予約により送迎を利用できます。日光駅方面から市営バスで通洞駅前へ来る経路もあります。山の谷あいへ入る立地なので、列車やバスで通洞に着く時刻と送迎を合わせ、日帰り利用は最終入浴受付に間に合う到着にできます。

日光市内で組み合わせる訪問先

足尾では、銅山のトロッコと坑道、通洞駅周辺の菓子店、谷あいの温泉宿を移動して巡れます。銅山の工事中は入口から出口、駐車場まで歩く距離と階段があり、見学の最終受付より前に余裕を取れます。温泉の日帰り受付と菓子店の休み、列車や宿の予約送迎を合わせ、山側の宿と町の散策をつなげられます。

Fifteen rooms in the Koshin valley

The former national-lodge Kajikaso now operates as Ashio-no-Yado Kajika. Its two-storey concrete building has six Western, four tatami and five mixed rooms, fifteen in total. Every room includes a toilet, washbasin, Wi-Fi, refrigerator and individual air conditioning; bathing takes place in shared Koshin-no-Yu. South-facing mixed rooms combine beds and tatami with views towards the mountains.

Koshin-no-Yu and revised April 2026 fees

The alkaline simple spring has pH 10.0, source temperature 36°C and an approximate bath temperature of 41°C. Facilities include indoor and outdoor baths and a low-temperature sauna without a cold plunge. Day admission is 11:00–15:00, last entry 14:30. Since April 1, nonresidents pay ¥1,000/junior high and older or ¥700/ages four–primary school. Resident rates are ¥500/ages junior high–64, ¥300/65 and older, and ¥250/four–primary school; under fours are free. Eligible certificate holders and one carer are exempt.

Local ingredients and daytime dining

Dinner courses use Nikko ingredients such as Itadakimasu trout, Himitsu pork and yuba; breakfast combines Japanese and Western elements including sausage and grilled vegetables. Daytime lunch runs 11:00–14:00, last order 13:30, separately from overnight dinner. Confirm accommodation, day-bathing and dining service dates directly with the hotel on 0288-93-3420 before visiting. Plan a walking or copper-mine visit around the confirmed service times.

Booked station transfers and parking

Arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00, with twenty free unreserved parking spaces. Tsudo Station on the Watarase Keikoku Railway is about fifteen minutes away by taxi; overnight guests can arrange a transfer in advance. Municipal buses from the Nikko stations also reach Tsudo-ekimae. Coordinate the rail or bus arrival with the booked transfer, or arrive before the day-bathing reception deadline.

Other stops to combine within Nikko

Ashio links the mine trolley and tunnels, a confectioner near Tsudo Station and a valley hot-spring inn. Construction adds walking and steps between the mine entrance, exit and parking, so arrive with time before last admission. Coordinate bath reception, confectioner closures and trains or a prebooked guest transfer when combining the town with the mountain stay.
