和室7畳は1～2人、和室10畳は1～5人で利用できます。和洋室や半露天風呂付きの和室もあり、専用風呂はすべての部屋に付くわけではありません。バリアフリー特別室は和室とツインベッド、ダイニング、展望内風呂を備えます。車椅子で浴室まで進める客室を選ぶ方法もあります。館内と客室は禁煙で、1階の指定喫煙所を利用します。無料Wi-Fiは別館を除く客室・公共区域が対象です。
貸切露天と大浴場の使い方
大浴場と貸切露天の利用時間は15～24時、翌6～9時30分です。貸切露天は予約不要で、空いている浴室の入口を施錠して利用し、1回約40分が目安です。料金は宿泊利用で無料。大浴場への途中には階段があり、サウナはありません。同行者の足元の条件に応じて客室風呂や貸切を選べます。泉質はカルシウム・ナトリウム硫酸塩泉で、夜と翌朝の入浴を食事や出発時間に合わせられます。
食事と子ども・入湯税の条件
食事処では季節の魚介などを使う創作日本料理を提供します。朝食のみや素泊まりのプランがある日もあり、食事の付き方を選べます。子どもは小学生6～11歳が大人の70%、3～5歳の食事付きが50%、食事寝具なしは施設使用料2,200円。0～2歳の食事寝具なしは無料です。13歳以上は入湯税150円が別途必要。寝具や子どもの食事を含めて、予約人数とプランを合わせられます。
到着時刻と車での利用
チェックインは15時、最終18時30分、アウト10時です。17時を過ぎる到着は途中から連絡する条件です。無料駐車場は50台で、前泊客のチェックアウト後の10時から利用でき、荷物も預けられます。客室への荷物の移動は14時以降です。予約は6か月前から受け付けます。戸田湾を拠点に岬や資料館へ出かける場合は、宿の到着枠に合わせて海岸沿いの移動時間を取ると余裕を持てます。

Tokiwaya is a ryokan in Heda’s harbour community, combining seafood dining with hot-spring bathing. Choose traditional tatami rooms, Japanese-Western layouts with beds or rooms with private baths. Choosing rooms and private-bath options
Seven-tatami rooms accommodate one or two guests, while ten-tatami rooms take up to five. Japanese-Western layouts and categories with semi-outdoor baths are also available; private baths are not standard in every room. The accessible special room combines tatami space, twin beds, dining space and a view bath, allowing wheelchair access to that room’s bathing area. Guest rooms and indoor public spaces are nonsmoking, with a designated smoking area on the first floor. Free Wi-Fi covers rooms and public areas except the annex.
Using the private and main baths
Main and private outdoor baths operate 15:00–24:00 and 06:00–09:30 the following morning. No reservation is required for a private bath: lock the entrance of an available one and use it for around 40 minutes. It is free as part of the stay. Reaching the main baths involves stairs, and there is no sauna. Consider a room bath or private-use option according to your party’s mobility. The spring is a calcium-sodium sulfate type; arrange evening and morning baths around meals and departure.
Meals, children and bathing tax
Seasonal seafood features in creative Japanese meals served in the dining area. Breakfast-only and room-only plans are available on some dates. Children aged 6–11 pay 70% of the adult rate; ages 3–5 with meals pay 50%, while staying without meals or bedding costs a ¥2,200 facility fee. Ages 0–2 stay free without meals or bedding. Guests aged 13 and over pay a separate ¥150 bathing tax. Match the booking to the children’s ages and the meals and bedding they will actually use.
Arrival arrangements and parking
Check-in begins at 15:00 and ends at 18:30; checkout is 10:00. Guests arriving after 17:00 should notify the property while travelling. The 50-space car park is free and can be used from 10:00 after previous guests leave; luggage can also be stored, with transfer to rooms from 14:00. Reservations open six months ahead. When using Heda as a base for the cape or museums, allow sufficient time for coastal travel so sightseeing fits comfortably within the arrival window.
