谷津川館は、荒川白久の山里で和室と露天風呂を楽しむ宿です。緑水亭、和風館、本館の異なる間取りから選び、山や谷津川を望む時間を過ごせます。宿泊者向けの入浴は利用できますが、日帰り入浴と足湯は休止しているため、外来の温泉立ち寄りと宿泊を区別して計画します。

三つの館で選ぶ山里の和室
緑水亭は本間12.5畳と次の間、和風館は12畳または12.5畳に広縁、本館は12.5畳と4.5畳の次の間を備えています。渡り廊下で結ぶ建物や、谷津川の渓谷を望む昔ながらの設えなど、館ごとの違いがあります。全室に浴室と洗浄機能付きトイレがあり、浴衣、タオル、ドライヤーも備えます。部屋の広さと山の景観を基準に滞在先を選べます。
内湯と二つの無料貸切露天風呂
大浴場は木を使った内湯で、露天風呂では谷津川の流れと季節の山を感じられます。貸切露天風呂は椿と花梨の二つで、宿泊者は無料です。足湯は現在利用できず、外来の日帰り入浴も当面休止しています。宿泊して湯に入る旅と、日中だけ入浴する行程を混同しないことで、荒川方面の観光後に宿へ入り、部屋と風呂で過ごす時間を確保できます。
季節の料理と宿泊予約の方法
山の幸や川の幸を取り入れ、料理は季節や仕入れによって内容が変わります。四名までは部屋で食事を取れる案内があります。宿泊予約はインターネット、電話、FAXで受け付け、当日分は電話のみ。FAXは宿泊七日前までに送信し、宿からの電話確認で成立します。チェックイン15時、アウト10時。宿泊料金に加わる大人の入湯税は150円で、サービス料も別に扱います。
白久駅から山里へ向かう
白久駅から徒歩15分。送迎は白久駅と三峰口駅に対応し、事前予約または駅からの電話で迎える方式です。花園ICから国道140号で約37キロ・一時間、専用駐車場は約50台。電話予約の受付は8～21時です。法雲寺周辺や荒川のそば店、浦山方面の見学を組み合わせ、駅での連絡や宿へ入る時間も含めて移動の順序を選べます。
秩父市内で組み合わせる訪問先
市街の見学、吉田・荒川の立ち寄り、大滝や三峰の山道では移動に必要な時間が異なります。食事の注文締切と宿への到着時間を合わせ、関連する施設へ車や鉄道で続く行程を組めます。駐車場はそれぞれの施設・地域での利用条件に合わせて選べます。
In Arakawa-Shiroku, Yatsugawakan offers tatami accommodation and outdoor bathing amid mountain scenery. Choose different layouts in Ryokusuitei, Wafukan or the main building, with views towards the valley and stream. Bathing for overnight guests remains part of the stay, while day bathing and the footbath are suspended, an important distinction for anyone considering a short hot-spring stop.

Choose between three Japanese-style room wings
Ryokusuitei rooms combine a 12.5-tatami main room with a smaller chamber, Wafukan offers twelve or 12.5 tatami plus a veranda, and the main building pairs 12.5 tatami with a 4.5-tatami room. Connecting corridors and traditional rooms overlooking the valley create different settings. All rooms have a bath and washlet toilet, with yukata, towels and a hairdryer provided. Room arrangement and outlook can therefore guide the choice of accommodation.
Indoor baths and two free private outdoor baths
The indoor communal baths use wood in their construction, while the outdoor tubs connect bathing with the stream and mountain seasons. Tsubaki and Karin are the two private outdoor baths, both free to staying guests. The footbath is unavailable and day bathing remains suspended. Distinguishing an overnight bathing stay from a day-only visit allows time after Arakawa sightseeing for both the room and the baths without relying on unavailable external access.
Seasonal meals and how to reserve
Meals draw on mountain and river ingredients and change with the season and supply; in-room dining is offered for parties of up to four. Book online, by phone or by fax, with same-day reservations accepted only by phone. Fax applications must arrive at least seven days ahead and become confirmed after the inn calls back. Check-in is 15:00 and checkout 10:00. Adult bathing tax of ¥150 and service charges are additional to the accommodation rate.
Reach the inn from Shiroku Station
Shiroku Station is about fifteen minutes away on foot. Pickup serves Shiroku and Mitsumineguchi through advance arrangement or a call from the station. From Hanazono IC, follow Route 140 about thirty-seven kilometres, taking roughly an hour, to a private parking area for about fifty vehicles. Telephone reservations operate 08:00–21:00. Combine the inn with Hounji, Arakawa soba shops or Urayama sightseeing while allowing time for station contact and arrival.
Other stops to combine within Chichibu
Central sightseeing, stops in Yoshida or Arakawa, and mountain roads towards Otaki or Mitsumine require different travel times. Fit meal-order deadlines and accommodation arrival around the next stop by car or railway. Choose related parking according to its own facility or area and the applicable use conditions.
