When collecting someone from JR Matsue, agree to meet on the south side before parking. The north-side bus rotary and taxi stand are not accessible to ordinary vehicles and are not waiting areas for private cars. This lot allows a parked meeting and luggage loading after the train arrives. Share the exit and parking name so driver and passenger do not wait on opposite sides.

Ten free minutes and the daytime tariff

Stays up to ten minutes are free. From 08:00–22:00 the first hour costs ¥200, followed by ¥100 per thirty minutes. Longer errands or a station-area meal move into ordinary paid parking. For a pickup alone, coordinate arrival with the train and passenger’s walk; for shopping or dining, plan a longer stay under the standard tariff.

Night charging and around-the-clock access

From 22:00–08:00 the charge is ¥100 per hour. Twenty-four-hour operation accommodates late returns and early departures. A stay spanning day and night involves both tariff periods.
