Chorakuen offers time with gardens and hot springs within Tamatsukuri Onsen. Alongside its large mixed outdoor bath, separate-use and private baths provide alternatives for different companions and preferences. Japanese-style and bed-equipped rooms are available, with meals served in dining venues rather than guestrooms.

湯浴み着で入る龍宮の湯

自家源泉を掛け流す「龍宮の湯」は120坪の混浴大露天風呂です。女性用の巻き布と男性用のペーパートランクスを脱衣場に用意。女性専用内風呂「水晶の湯」は露天へつながり、洗い場とパウダールームもあります。混浴露天の利用は5時30分～9時30分、15時～23時30分で、夜と朝の景色の違いを楽しめます。

男女入替浴場と段差のない貸切風呂

「恵泉」「華泉」は男女入替制で、岩や檜の露天、内湯などを楽しめます。利用5時30分～9時30分、15時～24時。「清泉」は入口・脱衣場・浴室まで段差のない貸切風呂で、予約と別料金が必要です。1回45分、開始は16～21時の各正時。混浴以外にも天然温泉を引く風呂があり、客室内風呂でも温泉を使います。

庭園、食事会場と部屋の選択

庭園には樹木や石の景色が広がり、入浴の合間に散策できます。客室は和室46室とベッドルーム12室の計58室で、露天風呂付きや離れの特別室も選択肢。食事は食事処を使い、部屋食はありません。個室食事会場を希望する場合は事前に申し込み、1室3,300円税込の追加です。全客室と食事会場などの共用部は禁煙で、指定ブースを利用します。

宿泊料金の税と駅からの移動

チェックイン15時・最終18時、アウト10時。宿泊料金は日付・部屋・料理で異なり、入湯税は原則150円、小学生以下免除です。税抜き素泊まり相当額5,000円以上は宿泊税200円、未満免除が加わります。無料駐車場は予約時に車の台数を伝えます。JR玉造温泉駅・玉造国際ホテル・長楽園を結ぶ定時シャトルがあり、温泉街の川沿い道路は15～24時に一方通行です。

Bathing garments at Ryugu no Yu

Ryugu no Yu is a 120-tsubo mixed outdoor bath supplied continuously from the inn’s spring. Wraps for women and paper trunks for men are provided in changing areas. The women-only indoor Suisho bath connects with the outdoor bath and has washing and powder areas. Ryugu opens 05:30–09:30 and 15:00–23:30, offering different morning and evening settings.

Gender-switching baths and a step-free private bath

Keisen and Kasen switch between male and female use and include rock or cypress outdoor baths and indoor bathing. Hours are 05:30–09:30 and 15:00–24:00. Seisen is step-free from entrance through changing room to bathroom, requires reservation and an extra fee, and offers forty-five-minute sessions starting hourly from 16:00 to 21:00. Natural spring water also supplies the non-mixed baths and guestroom baths.

Garden, dining and room choices

Trees and stone settings provide garden walks between baths. The fifty-eight rooms comprise forty-six Japanese rooms and twelve bed-equipped rooms, including special outdoor-bath and detached options. Meals are served in dining venues, not guestrooms. Request a private dining room in advance; the additional charge is ¥3,300 including tax per room. Guestrooms and shared dining areas are nonsmoking, with designated smoking booths available.

Local taxes and transport from the station

Check-in starts at 15:00, final arrival 18:00; checkout is 10:00. Rates vary by date, room and food. Standard bathing tax is ¥150, with primary-school children and younger exempt. Accommodation tax adds ¥200 when the tax-exclusive room-only equivalent reaches ¥5,000, otherwise exempt. Tell the inn the number of cars when booking free parking. A scheduled shuttle links the station, Tamatsukuri International Hotel and Chorakuen. The riverside resort road is one-way from 15:00 to 24:00.
